Yeah the Heinkel 111Z is a real aircraft, only 12 were built and wouldnt have a place in game.

Yes, they are real, but they were not built for bombing.
AI tells me they could still carry bombs on external hardpoints, but I can’t find any actual source for that.
There’s no reason why they couldn’t - they were still 111s there just wasn’t a reason to do that. It would be easier and cheaper to just produce two aircraft so they never did.

My take would be that you would remove any unnecessary equipment - so bombay doors would be fixed shut and nothing carried internally by way of bombing equipment - maybe also bombsights were not fitted
That would make sense. I assume it still had Jumo 211s which were already underpowered as it was. Towing those massive gliders would be very difficult.

Yes that is their purpose - but that doesn’t preclude carrying a bombload.
Do you had a source that says specifically they could or could not carry bombs internally or externally?
Since others have said it couldve carried bombs it would have a place beside the bf109z
