Please buff turret basket HP or remove them

Just look how our sights can be damaged but we don’t lose any vision or quality of said vision.

Wouldn’t see me complaining if they did receive damage while in scope.

Why would you want that in game? Maybe in Sim, but that would make more people not want to play Sim

Because I don’t see immersive gameplay mechanics that introduce more options as such a bad thing. Historically tanks were often taken out after being engaged and having their optics smashed even if they weren’t penetrated.

I have still 1 shot killed like 80-90% of the ~30 Abrams tanks I faced around 11.3-12.0 when I played Germany top tier last week.

I’m curious where their “far better survivability” was, maybe they didn’t buy enough GE?

You might not complain but I bet many people would. Just imagine them being mad because their optics got spammed rendered them almost blind in the process, while also making the game into a repair simulator.

This optics thing discussion is like two minutes old and you already have someone thinking it’s a bad idea, even for Sim.

They are, which is why plenty of new vehicles are thought to be OP until the dust settles.

Regardless, I think Gaijin is keeping some unrealistic things in the game to make their life easier and of course, to not stir the pot too much causing havoc.

Leopard had it coming with it’s black hole in the middle of the hull, but I think we could make some tweaks on how it works.

an easy fix to me is to make the turret basket reduce turret rotation speed to a decently heavy extent but not disable it

I thought of the same thing.
Guess it should be fine with something like 80% reduction in rotation speed. Make it a bit faster than what you currently get when your battery is empty.

Invisible commander peeking

Crews wearing stealth camo when repairing

Infinite spare barrels, breech, and machine guns

Repairing tank engine doesn’t take at least 5 hours

Crew has wolverine healing factor

Invisible insta360 camera and it’s mounting pole

Commander eagle eyes who can tell tank model by seeing the tip of an antenna in 1.2 km

Crews has Superman x-ray vision that could tell the internal parts of enemy vehicle getting damaged or crews getting hurt or killed, in 2km

No barrel collision

You are not listening/ reading what i said.

The module soaks spall not rounds.

Every test I’ve done the basket does not generate secondary spall.

If it did anytime you got penned it would vapourise the crew.
Go actually test it properly not slinging rounds on the test which is notoriously bad.

Good for you mate, blowing a hole through its turret ring weakspot or ammo rack still one taps it, that didnt change, while the turret ring should get its extra armour , the basket saves from.shots to the hull.
