Aside from the F-4ADTW skin and the M1 AIM I think all of Australia IS in UK currently, and most of our other stuff is domestically modified such as the Mirage 3 that we stuck British Avon engines in, the CAC Saber with 30mm ADEN cannons and Avon engine and drop tanks, L1AS1 is like the C2A1 I think. and so on
Ok, but you seem to have picked up in the middle of the argument which is Canada and Australia SHOULD be TTs rather than broken up all over the place.
We are talking past each other, many of us are trying to say those things should be move to make TTs for CAN/AU in one form or another, but you are saying they should not be move cuz the TT has not been made yet.
That i can relate to, but i again believe its impossible. You wont make them with entirely unique tree (or rather, mostly unique tree without copypasting same unique machine several times).
There is only one Australian tank in US, others are basically all in britain. You can check on wiki
There is also funny thing: ausi Abrams in US as it was made in US, but ausi F111 which is also a US plane is in Britain . Which makes me believe its officially a subtree of Britain
Let’s see, 19 Australian vehicles in the game. Only 1 in the US tree, the rest are in the British tree. How is this not a sub-tree? If you want to add New Zealand into that list (ANZAC’s), then that’s 21 vehicles. Still with only 1 outside the British tree.
Canada is similar, 17 vehicles in the game and 6 of them are outside the British tree. Personally I’d say 5, because the US premium Skink is some stupid fake marine vehicle fighting on the Pacific Front.
Aside from just the “Gaijin didn’t say it is” answer, that one non-British vehicle is how it isn’t. The main thing a nation gets from being a subtree is consistent lineups, and lineups aren’t consistent if their vehicles can be added to more than one techtree.
Some people also tried to claim Czechoslovakia as russian subtree on the grounds of “all czechoslovakian vehicles are presented there”, it was officialy denied for now by Smin (I have the exact comment saved if you dont believe me).
Even if the Aussie Abrams wasn’t in the US tree, as long as Gaijin doesn’t consider it as a subtree, it isn’t one
From what we’ve been told multiple times, Australia and Canada are not subtrees and their vehicles can go wherever Gaijin wants them to go
Just because all vehicles of a certain nation are located in a specific tree doesn’t mean that nation is a subtree (Argentina, Czechia, Egypt, Syria, New Zealand, etc)
And as many Canadians and Australians have pointed out that’s fing BULLSHIT , how about we split post WW2 Germany between the USA and USSR trees? that sound fair to you?
Actually, just remove Germany entirely and divide their WW2 tanks up between the allied nations as well.
Yep, the Abrams is more proof than a requirement. It shows the difference between subtree nations and others.
Before that Australia only had vehicles in the UK tree, but because it’s not a subtree the Abrams could be added to the US anyways. The same thing could happen to those other non-subtree nations too at any time, but it couldn’t happen to subtrees.
Aside from Germany being one of the original WT tech trees, this is not the same at all.
Australia and Canada use plenty of non-British equipment in the modern days and Britain absolutely does not need that stuff.
For the domestic stuff and uniquely modified stuff, those should go to Britain, but the (mostly) unmodified export stuff should go to the export nations.
Oh and how many unique planes dose Germany have post WW2? Its all fun and games until some one suggests trying a taste of the bullshit you advocate they have to suffer through isn’t it?
