Playing against Helicopters 4km away with no way to fight back in Fun :)

Thats why sweden is so horrible to play at 4.7-8.0 since all ur SPAA option as dogwater and is performing horribly compared to every other 40mm platform, since (im beating this subject to death jesus) the Lvakan 48 is modeled as a L/60 gun in all terms except for Fire-rate where its basically doubled. I got a answer from SMIN finally, and all i got was summed up, “Sorry but I dont know when its going to be fixed, also the devs are busy with fixing the spagetti code this update unleashed” Not exact words but eh-

Im not saying Sweden has it the worst Japan is quite its own Issue, But anyway,

The point of to have a great lineup its essential to have a great SPAA so you arent useless to deal with aircraft. Cuz having Air dominance is one of the biggest hinders of getting a victory or not!

Having ground only as a game-mode isnt that the devs are afraid it will drain regular ground RB of players instead its just a money pit, a realtively small part of the community will take part in, Not saying people wont enjoy it, but its just, Having aircraft is a very real part of warfare, have a fortified enemy? bomb it!

So my thinking about ground only is just that, well. It will further the issue of players not moving around the map. since there is not need to move after you get a kill. That fear of revenge bombers/helicopters/drones is damn annoying but the other side of the coin is that it makes you move, or it should make you move.

It takes the granate still long enough to let CAS players to dodge it with no effort.

The SPAAs could be replaced with artillery tanks.

Better to wait until <4km to make sure spread and accuracy aren’t effected.

Smoke, cover, Proxy ammo and/or Aircraft.

Funny how certain SPAA can’t target beyond 3.5 km or how all NATO AA proxy ammo is set to self destruct at 3.6 km.

It doesn’t matter if i have AA in my lineup if i’m in a tank and my fun gets ruined by dumb easy CAS… Fuck this “just spawn AA” That doesn’t fucking help! It’s no fun to get killed by CAS in something that cannot fight back!

Basically every Heli with ATGM’s. No way to hit them at whatever range they are with any tank when the Heli is moving up/down and forward/backwards at the same time

This game isn’t a fucking Sim nor is it realistic! CAS is overpowered, Gaijin fucking knows it. If regular Ground RB would not be played anymore than that would just mean that people clearly enjoy Ground more without CAS, which Gaijin should just embrace!

Thats just being a tank… Yea, its not fun having ur fun stopped. sure, i get that. Playing sweden i myself get killed by cas on the regular playing because swedish tanks have no AA MG even, so there is little defence. So yea i agree it sucks,

Sure you are in a good place lots of enemy wanders through untill you kill that American main who spawns directly after and plops a bomb on ya, that kills ya. damn that sucks. however, thats just the cycle. If you have a enemy that annoys ya from that ridge or if its heavely armoured and you cant get closer the only way to deal with it is well, CAS. even if it sucks when you are on a streak thats just how it is, and probably how it should stay, Since if you remove aircraft you and add lets say artiller sights and calculators that would be equally as much cancer since you will pretty much have 0 chance of avoiding it if a enemy sees ya. sure you can move but eventually you will get hit, that sounds similar to idk, a bomb

Well CAS players will always just be cowards. CAS is toxic…

At 8.0 BR you get Helicopters with missiles that are accurate at 4km distance. Your Gun SPAA has a maximum range of 2.4km if you don’t want to guess where to shoot.

At 9.3/9.7 your Missile SPAA (Stinger) has a lock on range of maximum 3km to helicopters, while the helicopters have guided missiles with 6km range.

At 10.3 and above your Missile SPAA has a range of up to 12km and your guidance capability above 8km is questionable, at best and your missile is not able to follow a fast manouvering jet. On the other hand, you get helicopters who have now fire & forget missiles and Strike Aircraft with ground strike capabilites from 12-20km away.

If you play ground, because you enjoy playing ground vehicles, then you’re screwed.

Where there is a will, there is a way. The will is to take down CAS by any means - The way was any means possible.

CAS is not that bad - problem is that too few players look up and for those who do look up, too few react. If anything, adopt the doctrine of accuracy by volume, more than often it works. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

Do you know how often I fucking died because i looked at a Heli? It’s GROUND… I should only look at tanks!
