The Roland 1 can track vehicles well above 45 degrees, at least in the test drive.
it has a positive winrate, terrible k/d and a slightly above average SL per game gain

You talk about what the game has NOW, I was about predicting the BR because what would we have later.
Considering that Gaijin teased 5th Gen probably end of this year you can expect these implemented hence why I said what I said.

It still leaves one question: why the french Roland does trigger RWR with the missile launch, when there is no tracking radar to set of the RWR…
I believe that all optical tracking with missile launch should not trigger any RWR gaijin chose to say that since there is a radarbit should trigger it but in this case there is not even a radar…
There is still a question for the balance: german and American can easily track target in all weather while french one is still limited to clear weather.
It is not ahistorical though: french took both turret in service, with and without tracking radar
N1K2 planes are currently 6.0 in Ground Realistic, not 6.3. Are you unifying BR rating for Ground Realistic and Simulator?
seriously after playing it i don’t understand why it should go up, the current AIM-9Ps are horrendous, in a br where fox 1 dominates having a plane with just 4 rear aspect missiles, when other planes have fox 1s that can delete you from 15km away is pain, and its not like the AIM-9Ps are good missiles, they are easily flared away. It should get the P-4 and stay at 11.3 or go to 11.0 without them, in the new sparrow age and the Mig-23M going to 10.7 i see no reason why it should be 11.3, it has a good radar but its useless.
They did get teased a little bit.
We got the statement saying they won’t arrive before the second half of 2026, and iirc during one of the recent dev streams when being asked about 5th gen bvvd responded with “2026 is not over yet”.
Which really doesn’t mean much.
All it means is literally not before the second half of this year.
It would genuinely be the dumbest decision ever to add 5th gens now

No, being passive. They just don’t have the targeting speed to be played aggressively (especially the J) and the H and J don’t have the mobility for that either.
If you want an inexperienced player to learn not to rely on armour, make them use, say, the Puma.
Hell, Shermans can’t rely on armour either but are much more versatile and capable of shooting first.
All those German mains that hang back and sit still learnt the wrong lesson from the Pz IV.
The S4 doesn’t get MAW and is severely limited in the amount of countermeasures it can carry. I don’t think that plane can justifiably go up to 12.7 even with a buff to the 530. And frankly i think that’s true for the S5 as well.
The lack of an all aspect look down mode severely limits the usefulness of your radar guided missiles, as they will lose lock in any situation that isn’t a pure head-on. Almost all 12.7 planes have all aspect look down capabilities on top of having more, as well as better radar guided missiles.
Also, doesn’t teach you how to shoot either, because it’s a derp gun at its BR that lolpens most opposition. Exactly like a TD would. And so they try the same centre mass shot against much different opposition later on and are shocked that it doesn’t work.
letting go of the W key isnt being passive. learning to position and take shots is the smarter way to play, you can still be very aggressive with that playstyle
