br changes are based on SL gained per spawn, K/D and winrate of the vehicle
very little is touched up by hand
Okay, so i wanna see who the feck keeps padding the M41Ds stats so much, lol. Who is out there dunking on people with that puny 76mm? I swear every BR change lately the M41D is in there.
LOL. Did you really just compare the Somua and the T58?
Agreed. I thought it was fine at 9.7, personally.
Problem with the Turm III is for every good player you see doing well in it, there are many more players who are absolutely struggling in it. Look at the global stats for it in Statshark.
I must be the only one who loves using the FV4005.
Vehicle: USS Moffett
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 5.3 → 5.0
Reason:
I would like to question the consistency of the proposed BR changes for American destroyers.
Several American destroyers, including USS Somers, USS Porter, USS De Haven, and USS Phelps, are being considered for a reduction from BR 5.3 to 5.0. However, USS Moffett remains at BR 5.3 despite sharing a broadly similar destroyer combat role and relying on conventional gun-based naval combat.
I understand that these vessels are not identical. Their armament configurations, handling, survivability, and other characteristics differ. Nevertheless, these differences should be evaluated in terms of their actual combat effectiveness rather than treated as an automatic justification for keeping one vessel at a higher BR.
If several destroyers in a comparable BR bracket are considered insufficiently effective at 5.3, USS Moffett deserves a closer review under the same criteria.
I therefore propose reducing USS Moffett to BR 5.0 in Naval Arcade Battles. At the very least, its current rating should be reassessed alongside the other American destroyers receiving reductions.
Vehicle: PT-811
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 3.7 → 3.3
Reason:
PT-811 struggles to justify its current BR of 3.7 in Naval Arcade Battles. At this rating, the vessel has difficulty delivering a meaningful contribution against its opponents, particularly when its available weapons and overall combat capabilities are compared with those of other vessels in the same matchmaking bracket.
A coastal vessel should be assessed not only by its speed or nominal armament but also by its ability to inflict damage consistently, survive incoming fire, and perform its intended combat role.
At BR 3.7, PT-811 does not offer a sufficiently convincing combination of offensive capability and battlefield effectiveness to justify its current placement.
I propose lowering PT-811 to BR 3.3. This would give the vessel a more reasonable matchmaking environment while allowing it to remain useful without placing it against opponents that it struggles to compete with effectively.
Vehicle: USS Delay
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 3.7 → 3.3
Reason:
USS Delay has a similar problem to PT-811: its current BR of 3.7 does not appear to reflect its practical combat effectiveness in Naval Arcade Battles.
At this rating, the vessel struggles to compete effectively against its opponents. Its current placement makes it difficult to justify choosing it over alternatives that can provide a more reliable contribution to the team.
Battle Rating should reflect the effectiveness a vessel can realistically achieve against the ships it encounters, not simply its classification or theoretical characteristics.
I propose reducing USS Delay from BR 3.7 to 3.3. This would provide a more appropriate balance between its capabilities and the opposition it faces in regular matches.
Vehicle : Superhind
Gamemode : Ground Realistic Battles
Change : 10.3 —> 10.3(No change)
Reason : Compared to other nations’ BR10.3 helicopters, the Superhind is inferior in terms of anti-ground missile performance and, furthermore, cannot be equipped with anti-aircraft missiles. As with other nations’ BR10.3 helicopters, it is not appropriate to upgrade it to BR10.7.
Vehicle: Hugin
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 4.3 → 4.0
Reason:
Hugin is placed in a difficult competitive position at BR 4.3. Its overall combat effectiveness does not adequately compensate for the capabilities of the opponents it encounters at this rating.
In Naval Arcade Battles, coastal vessels need a combination of firepower, mobility, survivability, and tactical flexibility to remain competitive. A weakness in one of these areas can be manageable, but several limitations combined can make a vessel significantly less effective than its contemporaries.
Hugin struggles to offer a convincing advantage over the opposition at its current BR. I believe its rating should be reassessed alongside other German coastal vessels that occupy a similar matchmaking bracket.
I propose lowering Hugin to BR 4.0. This would provide a more reasonable environment for the vessel without requiring any changes to its historical configuration or basic gameplay mechanics.
Vehicle: Pfeil
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 4.3 → 4.0
Reason:
Pfeil deserves a reassessment of its current BR of 4.3 in Naval Arcade Battles.
At this rating, the vessel struggles to establish a clear competitive advantage over its opponents. Its overall combination of weapon effectiveness, survivability, and tactical options does not consistently justify its current matchmaking position.
A BR reduction would not make Pfeil exceptionally powerful. Instead, it would help place the vessel in a bracket where its practical capabilities are more proportionate to the threats it encounters.
I propose lowering Pfeil from BR 4.3 to 4.0 and evaluating its performance against other coastal vessels after the change.
Mode : Ground Realistic Battles
Vehicle : Stormer HVM
Change : 10.3 → 10.0
Reasoning : Given that the Starstreak’s flight model is currently unstable, it can sometimes be unreliable even when shooting down helicopters. Furthermore, a previous update has significantly reduced its anti-ground capabilities. What on earth is this missile actually capable of? It would be appropriate to lower its BR.
Fancy seeing you here. Never thought I’d see the day when we’re fighting on the same side of a Tornado argument, haha.
But jokes aside, I fully support this. These planes have eaten enough dirt. There is zero justification for the Tornado to be a higher BR than the MLD in any mode.
Glad we can finally agree on something. Let’s just hope Gaijin actually reads this and realizes that moving them up without giving them proper guided weapons (or even just a fair BR) is a terrible idea.
Vehicle: Jaguar
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 4.3 → 4.0
Reason:
Jaguar is another German coastal vessel whose current BR of 4.3 deserves reconsideration.
At its present rating, Jaguar struggles to compete consistently with its opponents. The issue is not necessarily that the vessel lacks any useful characteristics, but that its overall combat capabilities do not provide a sufficiently strong answer to the threats it regularly faces.
Battle Ratings should account for how effectively a vessel can use its weapons and survive in the actual match environment. A vessel that cannot reliably perform its intended role should not remain at a higher rating simply because of its nominal specifications.
I propose reducing Jaguar to BR 4.0 in Naval Arcade Battles. This change would bring it into a more appropriate competitive bracket and provide a better opportunity for it to fulfil its intended role.
even GRB?
Vehicle: Z46
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 5.0 → 4.7
Reason:
Z46 is difficult to justify at BR 5.0 when its practical combat performance is considered in the context of Naval Arcade Battles.
A destroyer’s effectiveness depends on much more than the nominal calibre or number of its guns. Accuracy, shell dispersion, damage consistency, reload time, survivability, and the ability to maintain effective fire against enemy ships all have a significant impact on its actual performance.
With the current naval combat environment and the importance of accurate, sustained gunfire, Z46 can struggle to deliver consistent results against its opponents. It can also be destroyed or disabled quickly, leaving little opportunity to make effective use of its armament.
I propose reducing Z46 from BR 5.0 to 4.7. Its rating should reflect its real performance in battle rather than the theoretical potential of its weapons.
This is not a request to make Z46 overwhelmingly powerful. It is a request to place it in a more appropriate bracket where its strengths and weaknesses are better balanced against those of its opponents.
Even GRB, yes.
F-4E being at 12.0 is ridiculous
Vehicle: Z32
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 4.7 → 4.3
Reason:
Z32 suffers from many of the same balance concerns as Z46, particularly when its practical combat effectiveness is compared with that of other destroyers in its BR range.
A vessel can have respectable specifications on paper and still perform poorly if its weapons cannot deliver reliable damage or if its survivability is insufficient for the engagements it is expected to fight.
Z32 struggles to justify its current BR of 4.7 in this context. Its effectiveness against opponents in regular Naval Arcade Battles does not consistently match the expectations associated with its rating.
I propose lowering Z32 to BR 4.3. This would help improve its competitive viability and give it a more appropriate position within the German bluewater fleet.
I also encourage the developers to assess Z32 and Z46 using consistent criteria, as both vessels face similar questions regarding their effectiveness and current matchmaking positions.
Vehicle: Yenot (Енот)
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 4.0 → 3.7
Reason:
Yenot is a particularly questionable vehicle at BR 4.0 because its armament and overall capabilities appear insufficient for the rating.
Its main shortcomings include only three guns, a lack of anti-aircraft armament, no depth charges, and a limited number of torpedoes with relatively low speed. This combination leaves the vessel with limited tactical flexibility and few reliable ways to respond to different threats.
The comparison with Soviet destroyers at lower BRs is especially concerning. For example, Frunze at BR 3.3 has four 102 mm guns and three triple torpedo launchers, giving it nine torpedoes in total. Frunze therefore offers a substantially stronger gun and torpedo armament despite its lower BR.
Yenot does not need to outperform a destroyer in every category, but its current rating should account for the fact that its offensive options are considerably more restricted.
I propose reducing Yenot from BR 4.0 to 3.7 in Naval Arcade Battles. Its current BR appears disproportionate to its available firepower, limited versatility, and practical combat effectiveness.
The developers should also review whether the current BR difference between Yenot and comparable Soviet vessels is justified by meaningful advantages in other areas.
Vehicle: Blagorodnyy
Game mode: Naval Arcade Battles
Proposed BR change: 5.3 → 5.0
Reason:
Blagorodny’s BR of 5.3 deserves a closer examination.
Its main concern is the relationship between its available gun armament and the combat effectiveness of other destroyers and larger vessels in the same matchmaking bracket. When a ship has fewer guns than comparable alternatives, its individual weapons need to provide sufficient advantages in accuracy, damage output, reload performance, or survivability to compensate for that difference.
In Blagorodny’s case, its current rating does not appear sufficiently justified by its overall combat capabilities. Anti-aircraft armament alone should not automatically determine a vessel’s BR, particularly when comparable ships at BR 5.0 also have anti-aircraft capabilities.
I propose lowering Blagorodny from BR 5.3 to 5.0 in Naval Arcade Battles. The change would bring its rating closer to that of comparable vessels and make its placement more consistent with the effectiveness of its main armament.
I ask the developers to evaluate Blagorodny based on its actual performance in naval engagements, rather than treating its current BR as inherently justified by its classification or secondary weapons.
you do realize you need to notch the missile and not the aircraft radar. even with fox 1.
