Seriously? A MiG-19-based attacker with only TWO rear-aspect missiles, no IRCCM, and no radar is going up to 11.0 in Air RB? Meanwhile, the J-7D is still sitting at 10.7. A-5c go to 11.0 must be a joke, right?
I have been hoping for this change for such a long time. The BMP-1 is terribad. The only difference between the swedish one at 6.7 and the 8.0 one is the atgm, which is mediocre at best.
It is unacceptable that the BR values of some Soviet ground equipment (e.g., T-80UD, 2S38, T-72B3 series) remain unchanged, and it is also incomprehensible that the FNF-armed helicopters are set to 13.3. You need to go with 14.0, like the fixed-wingers. I also think the premium SU-30 should go with 14.0. The BMPT should go to 13.3 too
what a suprise… Who would have forseen this coming?
Why are you planning to increase the BR of the MiG-29KR? have you test it at least once?
Because you decided that its engines and oil should overheat in just 3 seconds—and to compensate for this handicap, we’re forced to climb to an excessively high altitude just to cool them down using the cold air.
It’s subsonic at sea level and useless at high altitudes due to its terrible radar. It should be at 13.3 and stay there.
As always pitiful BR balances, I shouldn’t be surprised. go work in your copy/paste call of duty port (Infantry)
Yeah, i see NO reason why the helis cant go to 14.0 to stop them from seeing brs where they could see people that dont have a way of countering them.
second most popular premium of wt history needs more milking to beat TURMS T i guess
Whats its rwr like? 13.7 after the changes should be equivilant to the old 13.3 just with some decompression. As long as it has a better rwr than the base mig 29s like on the mig 29n then i think it should at least go to 13.7 as it shouldnt face anything new only stopping it from seeing stuff at 12.3.
I love how 10.x went from one of the best brs to play to have fun to just a stomp sim with the amount of premium and event russian vehicles they have access to alongside the groms and such on their cas. I just love being spammed with t80u’s 2s38s, t72s, 292s and so on every game.
pantsir s1 at 12.3 is insane it needs to be minimum 12.7 or 13.0
EFV
9.0 → 8.3
- its the size of a literal bus, being larger than the actual bus models on city maps
- the autocannon has awful angles and is severely limited in where it can shoot, no thanks to its size either
- the autocannon has no AA rounds or IRST, making it only usable for anti tank
- even against tanks it has a mediocre APFSDS which can only reliably side pen some MBTs, which given its sheer size is never happening.
Fun fact, with the BR changes NATO is gonna have to try using the F-111F, A10C, and tornado IDS to try and kill a pantsir S1
The changes to some of the helicopters absolutely doesn’t make any sense, How does the Apache’s that are currently at 11.3 that have 16 Hellfires will raise to 11.7 and the Z-19E (and the normal variant) will be raised to 12.3 and they only have 8 BA-9s, They are worse than the Hellfire in some situations and both helis barely have any countermeasures
Also EC-665 Tiger HAP rise doesnt make sense, It has 8 HOT-3 missiles which take a lot of time to reach to an enemy and leaves it in a very vulnerable state for a long period of time, Its perfectly balanced the way it is now and rising it will only make it dead and unplayable because of the advanced anti air at the br especially in uptiers and some annoying vehicles that has locks and spike missiles
There are plenty more issues with the BR changes for the helis but i hope that some rebalancing happens because some helis will become unplayable because there are either better alternatives or advanced aa’s will catch up to them very quickly and wont make them do any damage
Vehicles: T58 and XM246
Game mode: Ground RB
Proposed Changes: Keep both the XM246 and T58 at 8.7 (do not move to 9.0)
Arguments for keeping the T58 at 8.7:
-
The T58 lacks a vertical stabilizer. Many vehicles at 9.0 are stabilized, so while the T58 has to stop for a few seconds to let its gun stabilize, the enemy can fire a round on the move.
-
The T58 relies on its HEAT round as its primary anti-tank round. At 9.0, many tanks have ERA and composite armor, meaning that the T58 will struggle to penetrate and kill MBTs with composite and ERA
-
The T58 uses conventional cast steel armor, which is easily penetrated by 9.0 tanks using APFSDS rounds. At 8.7, the armor is more useful. At 9.0, it struggles to stop high-pen kinetic rounds
-
Many 9.0 tanks have very good mobility, easily reaching 60kph. The T58’s top speed is only around 30kph. This means that enemies will be able to outflank the T58, and by the time that the T58 reaches the front lines, teammates in high-speed MBTs have done most of the work.
In conclusion, the T58 will be outgunned, out maneuvered, and its armor will be useless if it gets moved up to 9.0.
Arguments for keeping the XM246 at 8.7:
-
Unlike similar SPAAs like the Gepard, the XM246 has no APDS belts for anti-tank purposes. It has to use standard ammo, which can penetrate the sides of MBTs, but cannot do anything to them frontally. It is also a bit sluggish, so it struggles to get into a position where it can penetrate a MBTs side.
-
The XM246 also doesn’t have a HE-VT round like the Sergeant York gets. I am not saying that it should have HE-VT, but rather that its anti-air capabilities are not strong at 9.0.
If the XM246 gets moved to 9.0, it will struggle to kill both planes and tanks due to its lack of APDS and subpar tracking radar.
However, the biggest reason why these two tanks shouldn’t be moved up is lineup power. Both the XM246 and T58 complement each other very well at 8.7, and if they were moved to 9.0, they would both be less viable. USA 8.7 also has a lot of very fun and diverse options for a lineup, and moving these two tanks up would destroy the US 8.7 lineup.
Try, Do you mean fail? Used to have to do that all the time back when it was 11.3. Its basically impossible, your pgms just get shot out the air and you cant even do the start where you fly verticle because the tonka is too fat. At least the f111f can do it unlike the c due to its extra thrust…
They need to move it to 13.3 so these jets cant see it. Or better yet keep them at 11.7 as even a 2s6 can deal with them plenty.
No it doesn’t, also, the ability to go into, leave, and repeat a notch matters greatly
Why is J15T going to 15.0? it should stay at 14.7 cause of it’s 48 CM
There is no reason to play the F-15CGE over and EFT now, and the J15 at 15.0 is just beating a dead horse
F-2a going up to 14.0 ?
she areledy struggle at 13,7
relying on his radar, positioning, and momentum
