Gajin remembers the Yak-15 for the first time, and they nerf it XD

Man sweden have one without the Launcher on 6.7 and the BMP-1 is way worse than most of the 8.0 light tanks

F-104G (China)

i love how this update now makes the US SPAA gaps even bigger
skink (5.3) → M163 (7.3) → XM246/chaparral (9.0) → sergeant york/LAV-AD/roland (10.3) → ADATS (12.0) → CLAWS (12.7)

why are there a grand total of 4 SPAAs between early-ww2 and the 2010s

With everyone else suggesting the 1A5/1A3s to go up, I might as well (even if it’s only to get something else through)

Mode: GRB & GAB
Vehicle: C2A1
Change: 9.3 → 9.7
Name fix to C2 (MEXAS)
Reason:
The MEXAS add-on armour doesn’t do anything for tank-to-tank combat and doesn’t help the tank to keep its BR. So it should be joining the other 1A5 variants in there in BR.
There is no tank named C2A1 used by the Canadian army known as C2A1; the only thing to have used that name is a FAL gun. But because it’s the version with MEXAS armour, which didn’t have a unique name and is not the base Leo C2, it should have the armour name in brackets.

Related bug report: C2A1 wrong name

Both ho-ris should be going up by 0.6-0.7br, not just one step, not that they’re going up at all

Vehicle: Mig-29 Sniper (ITA)
Gamemode: Air realistic
BR change: 12.7 → 13.0 ONLY when it gets the R-73s
Reason: It’ll be a more competent premium vehicle for the grinding of Italy tech tree, considering recent weapon update for the Mig-29 (9-13). Or it can get rid of the R-27ER (which it historically didn’t bring), get the R-73s and STAY at 12.7. Anyway, R-73 is a must in order to get this vehicle more better options to fight in ARB.

Well, this might be the only way to fight a response(as every other way failed). But got to try anything.

Mode: All
Vehicle: M4A5
Change: 3.7 → 3.7
Fixing the name to Ram II or Ram II “B” (the latter would also need to be applied to the UK’s one)

Reason: War Thunder claims to be a realistic game and can help that by using the correct name for the vehicle that the operator nation used on it.
“M4A5” is the hypothetical name used by the US on its Ram IIs that never came true. The other possible fix is changing the operator nation to the US, but then it becomes fake in other ways(as the US never had any of the early Ram IIs, just a Ram I for testing and a late post-war).
The name has also done major harm in spreading misinformation about the Ram family.

Bug report I’m fighting the response to: US Ram II name fix

Video of the only Ram the US got during WW2 and the name they called it: War Dept Film Bulletin 6: Canadian Medium Tank M-3, Etc., 1941 : United States. War Department : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Des Moines

6.7-6.3

I don’t mind using any BBs around 6.3-6.7 to have a 1V1 with Des Moines if you believe it worth 6.7

Enough with the excuses for the Su-30MKM and MK2; their minor drawbacks are far outweighed by their effectiveness and significant strengths. When flown correctly, these aircraft can single-handedly dismantle the opposing team.

And thanks for bringing it up—it’s also worth mentioning the J-11A, which is roughly on par with the Su-30MKM and MK2; it’s an incredibly formidable aircraft with exceptional performance.

Of course, if these planes are being flown by a “level 20” player—or someone who spends the whole match bombing ground targets—you’re not going to see the true potential of these Su-30s. But honestly, even if you gave those same players an EF-2000 (AESA) or a Rafale, they still wouldn’t contribute anything useful to the match.

it tracks vertically now. all MIG 29/su27 radars do now

Pansir S1 cannot be 12.3 be real, that will mean that A-7es will fight that

Lvrbv-701 - Keep at 9.7, it is not a very good SPAA and this would allow it to have a lineup with the T-72 and Leo 1a5

Leopard 1a5 (All) 9.3-9.7, it is perfectly good at the br it is at, and with the raising of the competitors it would stomp at 9.3.

still grinding heads to this day as why they let it R-60M only and not with R-73, easy 13.0 material. Ended up same BR as the techtree one only with better RWR and glass cockpit

F-102A (GR+USA)

9.0 → 8.7

even AIM-26Bs honestly arent enough to save this poor misreable plane. please give it a break and atleast give it a BR where its something worth using. as for the gunpods im sorry to be the bearer of bad news but a 7.62mm MG against supersonic and transonic aircraft made of steel with 20-30mm cannons is basically worthless

Seeing the M41D go up again while seeing something like the Object 685 staying at 8.7 is actually wild.

This is a MUCH better solution, and should be what’s being argued for, and in the event the LMM Martlets cause its effectiveness to rise too much, the HVM would finally fill the SPAA gap Britain has between the 3 current 10.3’s and the newly appointed 12.0 ADATS.

I disagree with dropping it to 10.0 though. The HVM is a fantastic AA vehicle, it just struggles with drones and very close range shots.

nono you see its fair and balanced because uhhhhhh

yeah

fun fact the F-111F is probably the biggest threat the S1 is ever gonna have to face at its BR. 6 mavericks on a flying brick that can only go in a straight line is the biggest threat.

Anyways lets uptier the roland! right guys?
