base euro really can’t go lower yeah. So we shouldn’t give it excuses to go up.
imo we should increase the power difference between base and AESA euro a bit so we can keep them separated more to make each aircraft more interesting rather than just one being completely pointless to get because well, there’s the same thing but better a tiny br higher
You realize training and actually using the rounds is different right?
They are showing the crews what the shell’s look like dude. Not actually using them.
You can spare a round or two to show crews like “Hey, this is our special High penetration APFSDS, only use it on heavy targets” and get accustomed to how the shell behaves, because you can’t safely get training rounds to perform similarly.
With the typhoon, I typically fly right and climb, then shoot into the frontrunners that are about to get missile warnings from the middle of the map too. Sometimes they just fly into your missiles.
In the meanwhile you can just turn left into your team and notch everything while maintaining TWS guidance.
Also, it was like 2-3 rounds PER TANK, thats not wide spread use.
And it wasn’t even used, because L23A1 proved adequate to blow clean through the T-72s Iraq had at even extreme ranges (Show’s how bad Gaijin models British APFSDS, because L23A1 can barely UFP a T72A at point blank.)
That is what I do, but still doesnt change the fact the CAPTOR-M in its current state is at best a 13.3/13.7 radar, but is currently at 14.7 alongside ESAs
PIRATE TWS + Sensor Fusion + P-Track, and now we are talking.
Okay. and again, I already do that, still doesnt change the fact that Aim-120B/C5s ARE underperforming, Heck so are R-77 and PL-12 and Derby/R-Darter, in that same regard if common sense is applied.
Probably would still fire straight at the intercept point, but its a tool that can be used if needed. Especially when heavily laden in NE and turning is a chore.
Eh, I think keeping that limitation for most brs is better for gameplay purposes still.
regardless of whether it’s possible irl or not. (I’m dying on this hill)
For higher tiers, removing that limitation would make sense to keep a sense of technology progression or whatever
