I agree, some BRs are extremely bad when it comes to CAS. As of right now though the changes are all across the board and some seem kinda overkill to me. M247 for example to 10.0 is just absurd. Some things going up even more that I have basically never seen in game where I’m just surprised like the Buccaneer S2.B. Just moving everything up also kinda kills the whole idea of decompression like the AMX I mentioned in a post.
I would rather like to see smaller changes instead of going to the extreme which probably will cause a back and forth between OP and useless for some vehicles.
They balance some planes in ARB off SL per game and not K/D or K/S, china is event most people 1st 2nd or 3rd nation they grind so newwer players are doing better in the J-7D then ventrans in the Kfir.
Where is the J-7D’s BR nerf? The A-5C was banished to 11.0 just for carrying two Magic 1s, yet the J-7D is still stubbornly sitting at 10.7 without budging.
With four high-mobility infrared missiles, napalm recently added so it can easily bomb mini bases, and even having countermeasures, the J-7D completely suffocates 9.7 fighters. I genuinely don’t understand why it still hasn’t received a BR nerf.
Wait. F16 adf gets moved to 13.7 despite being worse that su30mk2/mkk/j11a. Or mkk/mk2/j11a get moved to 13.7 despite being better than adf and other jets moving to 13.7. So decompression is empty sound for those planes.
This is a perfect opportunity to make people play MiG29KR instead of Su27SM, At the current BRs KR couldn’t have gone down so they share the same BR but with the proposed changes it can stay where it is. After all F-16C Blk.50 is staying and those two are evenly matched. MiG29KR offers no distinct advantages over 27SM. It is already worse than 29M in terms of missile kit, let alone the flanker.
I sense they want people to play MiG-35 over KR, hence why they are moving KR up but not touching the 35.
A-5C has to be the most targeted premium in recent history, the rank 6 ->7 bump was nice, but the fact that it’s been consistently the same BR as the J-7D which surpasses it in every metric is insane to me.
It’s been vastly unusable since the change to 10.7 because it’s a mig 19 airframe with 2 AAMs and worse guns, and now they’ve decided it’s not doing poorly enough at 10.7 and needs to go up, similarly to the Kfir Canard, 2 rear aspect IR missiles and an ok flight model should not be justification to put it up against F-4s, JA-37Cs, A-10Cs, Mig-23mls, etc
All variants of the Fw 190 share a wide turning radius and a climb rate that is slightly below average. They have a fast roll and heavy armament, but that’s pretty much all they have going for them. The bomber hunting they once excelled at is no longer viable. Compared to other fighters at the same BR, they are clearly underperforming. I think a BR decrease of 0.3–0.6 is necessary.
Nerfing the few useable CAS planes to the point that they’re now facing SPAA 40 years more advanced will certainly help the issue of no one spawning CAS.
Yes correct. The R73 and any other of the listed missiles should act like Strelas in terms of flare resistance. Watch nato mains curse and shout so loud they uptier anything with r73s and 27(e)t one or two br brackets. Gaijin have already used r73s as an excuse to put something at higher br than would be justified, for example the 29G.
im play with beeschurger a fair bit, hes a much better player than i am but the hornet is honestly not a challenging plane. It has a higher skill floor than a lot of other strong planes but its still not a challenge to get a lot out of tbh
its not for everyone but its certainly a very very strong plane
Vehicle: M247 Gamemode: Ground realistic battles BR Change: 9.3 → 9.7 Reason
The M247 would be practically lineupless at 10.0, with the only other available vehicle being the LAV-AD, an almost objectively better SPAAG (better pen, smaller profile, thermals, rockets, missiles, faster fire rate, IRST tracking). It would be better to keep it at 9.7 where it will fit within a lineup (MBT-70, M3A3, XM-1s if you have them) and still be able to perform without being outclassed by what is around it.
What makes the mig-35 better? It has a worse radar, worse rwr, fewer missiles, less missile range, worse speed and acceleration at high altitudes and the missiles are easier to notch than aim-120s after this last major update. The only thing it has going for it is dog fight performance and the missiles are a bit better in super close ranges that arent so common at top tier
