fair. I absolutely shred in the things. they are crazy good when the player learns another key than “W”
I just was more of a sniper and the sights on the Tiger IIs just didn’t cut it for me! The Nashorn was so nice and zoomed it! I loved it! I also love the Tiger I’s but I’m not the biggest fan of panthers.
It is awfully condensed. Some of the Russian costal ships are crazy. The event AK is nuts.
MO-4 at 1.0 is actually crazy! Horrible decision by the devs!
L23A1 entered service between 1983-1985, FV4030/3 was put into trials in 1979, with the vehicles being refined and changed until they eventually were accepted as Challenger 1’s which started its career in 1983. Once again its showing that you don’t know what you are talking about. In regards to ammunition, it is a balancing mechanic and in the Shir 2’s case, putting it at a proper BR. Shir 2 with just APDS would be a balancing nightmare due to high mobility and very good armour. It also did have an LRF, as this was standard for all Chieftain Mk.5, which Shir 2 comes from.
For your Chieftain 900 misinformation, the gun was not the limiting factor for APFSDS use, it was the ammunition storage. It had incorrect stowage for APFSDS rounds, the L11A5 gun (which it had before you say it didn’t) was cleared for APFSDS usage. Chieftain 900 was first unveiled in 1982 and the project was abandoned in 1986. L11A5 guns were started to be fitted on Chieftain from 1975-1979, which means Chieftain 900 had an L11A5.
Later export Chieftain, like the FV4030/2 Khalid (Also a Mk.5, in this case a revised Mk.5/3 and this in the lineage of the Challenger 1) had to have its internals modified to accept APFSDS storage. Later it received Totem Pole which increased gun handling and later the CHASE (CHallenger Ammunition Stowage Equipment) that helped speed up reloading times with better ammunition stowage and placement.
They should rework their 12.7 turret belts at least, currently both “universal” and “armored targets” belts are basically the same only consisting of AP/API-T/AP-T and not a single HEF, which is the main Italian round which does some damage. Universal should have API-T/HEF.
Plus in case of P.108 engine mounted turrets don’t work properly and shoot wherever, but at the point you actually aim.
Yeah. I felt like they were extremely inaccurate!
ive never really found sights to be an issue, but ive learned how to deal with all kinds of sights over thousands of hours. More than comfortable sniping or brawling with it. Personal preference, I fully get for higher zooms, i prefer wider FOVs personally.
I think they are better than tiger 1 but its slightly too big for my liking at that BR. Trouble with german stuff is that the typical german mains give enough target practise that youre always gonna be hit where it really hurts
just let us make custom belts and problem is solved.
so since the BR is going up, we are about to get higher ranked premium vesicles for $99.99
Give it correct L15A5, it would be fine.
L15A5 was a Final generation APDS round, and performed to Mindboggling levels for the Shell type.
meanwhile in game its copy and pasted L15A3.
If you can find info on L15A5 thats clear, doesn’t conflict or is correct be my guest. But no one source for it can agree that 1) Its DU and 2) It’s actual penetration value.
You also have to remember IRL pen values =/= in game pen values, due to the formula used by Gaijin to calculate it.
It’s not DU. That’s the only concrete thing we know about it.
Yeah, although I doubt they would allow this.
Why isnt the t80UD moving up? I dont see how it should be a lower BR then its western counterparts
its 100% not DU.
DU penetrators didn’t exist En mass until the 2000s.
I have done a deep dive into L15A5, and did some head math. (not enough i know) But L15A5 with what I Can find, using gaijins way of calculating Shells, it should penetrate around 360mm of armor point blank.
because its Russia, and Daddy putin won’t let Gaijin nerf anything russian.
They will say they nerfed a vehicle by moving it up or something, then give it volumetric hell holes in places people used to be able to pen.
I would add RN Ghibli, worse than any reserve destroyer, but sitting at 3.7 for whatever reason, also maybe RN Attilio Regolo and RN Etna, they are basically destroyers leaders with cruisers spawn. Soldati are kinda bad, slow RoF, poor survivability. MS-473 could also go 0.3 lower. Although yeah Roma/Italia RoF issue is the worst thing in the Italian naval TT and hard to understand why naval devs are so stubborn on this, especially since we have Soyuz with fantasy values or Bismark with extreme test results.
I find it odd that the new top ground BR vehicles won’t encounter the BMPTs. Or am I mistaken?
Correct.
