Completely? No. But does it mean looking at the T-25 and saying this should go down by two BR steps when it has broadly comparable stats to the Taran because you suspect it’s played by better players? Also no.
What happens with that is what always cyclically happens with WT. Gaijin will make a ton of money and then eventually will judge that the situation has gone on long enough and the issue will be fixed. Sure in the meantime a BR range has been poisoned for months or years, but if you ask me, that’s just an incentive to branch out into many different areas of the game. God knows there’s a lot to play.
I dont think the M247 should move up so high for a couple reasons. Big one is moving it to 10.0 instead of 9.7 will leave the 9.7 lineup without an SPAA. Additionally, moving it to 10.0 means it will be overshadowed by the LAV-AD, which is better than the M247 in almost all ways (lack of radar is the main con).
I believe that the M247 should move to 9.7 instead of the planned 10.0
Ghosti, you’re a great researcher. Love your work. However, you’re terrible with balance.
The meta in this game is speed and firepower, armour is meaningless if you don’t get hit. That’s like saying the R3 was fine when it was 3.7 because it’s “only” 30mm of aluminum (15mm RHA) at the front and 15mm (7.5mm RHA) at the sides, and look at it now at 6.0.
You’re ignoring the reasons why the 234/3 is amazing. Which are:
I hope this was simply forgotten in the first round of BR changes. This doesn’t deserve to stay at its current BR, do to its good FM (for an attacker), all-aspect R-60Ms, assorted ground attack munitions, and plentiful CMs.
Both of these vehicles are practically invulnerable, from all sides, against most of their opponents. Their gun obviously leaves a lot to be desired, but the armour and mobility is enough of a combo to make it work.
This is a fairly sad SPAA, able to launch only one missile at a time. The missiles mediocre at best, with poor maneuverability, proxy radius, and explosive mass. The lack of search radar is another big con. All in all, compared to other SPAA of its BR and below its BR, I think it should not move at all.
This helicopter is in a tough position, with 16x Hellfire missiles on a decent platform. It comes with some drawbacks though, including no flares, no A2A missiles, and a poor A2A gun. Currently, the AH-64A sits at the same BR with ATAS, 9Ls, flares, and the same 16x Hellfires. This makes the YAH-64 completely redundant and an inferior option compared to other vehicles of the same BR.
Is that any different than a Churchill Mk.1 meeting the uparmoured KV’s?
And much better KV-1 ZiS-5? It has 10% more pen… Absolutely that does make the difference in what you can pen and not, but as does the uparmoured KV’s armour. One trade for another.
Yes they’re unbalanceable, but that shouldn’t mean everyone else gets to suffer.
How about for once that you compensate us with SL so we can get our lineups back? I cant even remember for how many times did i have to retrain my crew so they can fit into new lineups after you have changed BR-s…yeah, complaning after playing this game for 12 years
Happy to see the VS-10 going down in BR but I feel like the VS-8 should also get this treatment too! They both get the 15 mm guns that overheat quickly and don’t do much damage and the VS-10 actually happens to get 2 more turrets than the VS-8. Sure the VS-8 gets mines but half the time you don’t get to the points to leave your mines and mines also can be shoot causing you to explode while the VS-10 gets torpedoes which to be honest In most scenarios the torpedoes will be much better than the mines. I’m saying this as a Mine enjoyer too!
