Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

30mm ammo exploding does kill you
The issue with the BMP-T is that exploding the external part of the ammo doesn’t actually make it disappear
You can see the ammo not being in that portion of the belt leading to the gun in X-ray
But you can still shoot

The F-15A flies at BR 12.7, OK, good move, but what about the F-2A ADTW? It also looks below average at BR 13.0 without ARH missiles.

And why the hell aren’t the Su-30MK2/MKK at BR 13.7 yet?.. o_O

Turm 3 is german so probably suffers skill issue

And the t58 is still waiting for its hesh “fix”(so its has worthless has the other hesh throwers)

The hesh on the t58 literally works better than any other hesh in game, it actually overpressure reliably.

“Lmao”? There is no salvation for this generation, go back to TikTok :))

Marder 1A3 move to 9_2 sim lineup. No idea why its 10_2 fighting IFVs and AFVs that it cannot pen with its AUTOCANON and Milan ATGM vs BMPTs T90 is useless and etc… while BMDs and BMPs wit better gun, missile launcher able to fire on move, 3rd gen thermals are in 9_2…

Due to the autoloader design, ammunition is always present in the turret and is neither isolated nor protected by blow-out panels. As a result, any penetration into the turret carries a very high probability of an immediate ammo detonation, which significantly reduces survivability.

Because of this structural characteristic, hull-down gameplay is far less effective than it may appear on paper. Even relatively minor or incidental turret hits often lead to instant destruction, making this a design-level vulnerability rather than an issue of player skill or positioning.

Regarding BR placement: if the addition of thermals alone is considered sufficient justification to move the T-80UD to 11.0, then this logic must be applied consistently. A direct precedent already exists - the T-80UD/BE currently operates at 10.7 with thermals, and it is neither dominant nor considered balance-breaking at that BR.

At present, the T-80UD/BE sits at 10.7 alongside vehicles that already combine thermals with superior gun depression, better reverse speed, faster turret handling, and greater overall flexibility. Treating thermals on the T-80UD as an automatic trigger for 11.0 BR increase introduces an uneven standard, rather than addressing actual in-game performance, survivability, and platform limitations.

I kinda am horribly surprised that the f18E is getting up tiered to 14.7 like it sucks because it probs shouldn’t, however what really confuses me is the GE is going to stay .3 lower while being better at everything except instantaneous turn performance and like 2 missiles IIRC.

Like I would understand the BR increase if both were getting moved up and like I said it would still suck for both of them but it would at least make sense, but them moving only the f18E up confuses the hell out of me.

F-15A shouldn’t be 12.7, it’s creating compression.
Not solving it

Mode: Ground Battles

Vehicles: Comet I, Comet “Iron Duke IV”, Swedish (Finnish) Comet I

Changes:

Option #1:

  • AB: 5.0 → 4.7
  • RB: 5.3 → 5.0

or Option #2:

  • Keep BRs and reduce reload time from 9.6 → 7.4 s to somewhere like 7.6 → 5.9 s (that’s Concept 3’s reload time)

Reasoning: According to this The Comet Tanks Reload is Unjustifiably Bad topic, the loader in the Comet tank can reload faster than the in-game loader because the vertical bins are next to the loader. In addition, Comet I’s turret should be less cramped than Firefly’s, yet Firefly has a faster reload than Comet I’s. Reminder, Comet I has the same reload time as Tiger I’s, yet the Tiger I is only a BR step up and has infinitely better armor and reverse speed. This made totally no sense!! I strongly recommend lowering Comet I’s BR to justify the unchanged reload time, or I recommend copying Concept 3’s reload time for Comet I, since both use the same gun.

Which is funny given gaijin says hesh is a worse he shell than even heat

17kg of RDX just vanishing into the void

F-2A ADTW shouldn’t get AAM-4s until the F-2A has a way to distinguish itself, like AAM-5s.

The reason the ADTW is at 13.0 is mostly compression, but also the AESA radar, the insane Fox-2s, and the fact that it has some of the best flight performance in game.

Also compression.

They’re some of the best, if not the best 13.3s, but if they get moved up to 13.7 they’d suddenly become some of the worst planes at that BR.

Why fly the MKK when you have the J-11B? Why fly the MK2 when you have the Su-27SM?

Exactly people see compression and instead of thinking maybe they should decompresses above it they just think lower one vehicles BR not realising it creates the compression problem that caused this to begin with.

To be fair it is a common mistake when people aren’t focusing to hard on the overall issue which is fair most people don’t play multiple nations at top tier to gain that overview it took me until I grinded German Air as well.

To be fair it should be encouraged to play the tech tree variant rather than the easy premium copy I don’t see that as a bad thing however your overall point of the better alternative at the same BR if moved up is fully true.

I agree, TT vehicles should be better than premiums.

The main point was that there are better Flankers at 13.7.

Both of these should go up anyways
Making your argument kinda pointless here
