My guy, the F-16I absolutely doesn’t have an AESA radar. How can you so confidently talk about a jet you have evidently never even looked at in game?
Also it has no NCTR, so have fun actually identifying what are ghost targets and what are planes.
TWS+ is only for mechanical radar right?
Yeah I think so. At least all the planes I own with AESA radars have TWS ESA instead of TWS+. Iirc it was introduced to help with the ghosting issues of mechanical radars (not that it helped much).

No, its there for esa as well. It was to help with double scanning of all radars

I was mistaken. I always thought it had an AESA radar. Looking at it now, its Battle Rating is also set too high.

AIR RB 10.7 - > 10.3
The A10 has AIM9Ls has a gun and good manoeuvrability. The Buccaneer ok it gets aim 9ls. But it has No guns, Not enough flares to resist 11.7 onslaught. Too slow and heavy and can never get a base due to it not being fast enough. This plane needs an air spawn and to be moved down in BR.

At least it was bearable if your mechanical radar had the good NCTR.
The F-16I has no NCTR at all, so the game pretty much just told you “good luck and have fun figuring out which targets are what and which are even real.”

They should just make it so missiles dont show up in tws. Its impossible to sort through the clutter even with nctr

The A10 as a good ability to turn tight and get guns on or get a missle off, which is better than the buc can at least. Buc turns like a brick and can’t outrun anything at or above its br.
I started using my mouse to click targets on the radar hud lmao thats how bad it is. You can make it work with difficulty on modern radars but I just dont think its possible without nctr

Yeah agree, but at least it can defend itself with a gun. The buc really doesn’t have much going for it hence the comparison to a 10.3 A10.
