Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

Thats a spall bug thats inconsistent
The BMPT tanking side on shots with fill FCS and mobility is extremely consistent, and a feature
Why?
The side is extremely well armored since ERA is stupidly overpowered on russian tanks, especially modern relic armor fighting tanks from the 70s and 80s. All the crew is frontally facing and the ammo doesnt detonate, making the tank practically invincible

Not A4E, I mean only for A4B, that’s is too horrible, it only has 3 agm-12b, no AGM62 or AGM65

Thats why its 8.7 in ground and not 9.3? And compared to the scimitar in terms of cas, it gets countermeasures.

The scimitar F Mk. 1 being 8.7 is direct proof that the F-86K should be a lower BR. It’s faster at sea level then the Sabredog, gets ADENs, gets 4x 9Bs, and has similar manueverability.

I get you don’t want a British plane to struggle, but several British vehicles do the same thing for not British vehicles, like the Scimitar or Hunter F1 to the F-80C or MD 450 B etc. It simply isn’t fair to argue that the Sabredog should stay 9.0 because it affects 1 British plane.

Edit; plus, it’s not just one model at 8.7. if it were just the MiG-17 that was a problem, I’d say move the MiG-17 up instead. The problem is their is a host of planes that are similar in performance to the Sabredog at 8.7.

Some actual attention to WW2 Air BRs
(BR changes were made with only the fact that one of them would take place, also decompression would be 100% needed )

Gamemode: Air Realistic Battles

Vehicle/s: P-39 family
BR Change: 2.7 —> 3.0
Reason: outperforms, outpaces and outguns all 2.7 fighters

Vehicle: F6F-5N
BR Change: 4.3 —> 3.3 /3.7
Reason: An even heavier hellcat due to the pair of 20mil for a lost pair of 50cals and a radar that is useless in ARB.

Vehicle: F-82
BR Change: 5.3 —> 5.0
Reason: nerf really came for no reason, F-82 is just a boat like P-51, not even extra firepower, just firepower concentrated on the nose and maybe M3 50cals (1200RPM) instead of M2 50cals.

Spoiler

Vehicle: P-63 C-5
BR Change: none
Reason: it looks ugly (imo) in yellow stripes, give it a camo.

**Vehicle:**Ju-88 A-1
BR Change: 2.0 —> 2.3
Reason: absurd payload and decent speed at a BR where good climbing interceptors are VERY rare

Vehicle: he-111h-3
BR Change: 2.0 —> 2.3
Reason: same as Ju-88 but a little slower and but 4 more incendiaries for lost 50s bombs.

Vehicle: Fw-190 A family except Fw-190 A-1
BR Change: - 0.3 BR
Reason: most of the family noticeably underperforms compared to other planes and is reduced to third party or complete ambushes. to earn kills.

Vehicle: Do-335 A-1
BR Change: +0.3 BR
Reason: Speed, climbrate, firepower and airspawn make an overly effective and oppresive combo. Only downside over Do-335 A-0 is lack of a 20mil modification, but it can carry bombs and be at a lower BR.

Vehicle: Ta-152 C-3
BR Change: 6.3 —> 5.7
Reason: literally only upside is firepower, it is super easy to catch, it doesn’t climb very well, it can’t turn or use flaps like it’s cousin the ta-152 h-1. Maybe it could have it’s airspawn removed to avoid too much chaos.

Vehicle: Me-262 A-1a
BR Change: 7.0 —> 6.7
Reason: A VERY RISKY BR REDUCTION, the base 262 could probably not be much of a threat if one tracks it position, easy to dodge cannons with practically 2 upsides: no control compression and speed. like any jet it will be outclimbed and completely dead at low speeds.

Vehicle: Me-163 B
BR Change: 8.0 —> 7.7 / 8.0 (w special airspawn)
Reason: the entire “rocket plane” class just needs an airspawn to avoid costly fuel takeoffs early on. Maybe like 50m above the runway would work.

Vehicle: Me-163 B-0
BR Change: 8.3 —> 7.0 / 8.3 (w special airspawn)
Reason: same as last me-163, but the unwieldy mk-108s replaced with 20mils is justifiable for a 0.3 increase over the Me-163 B.

Vehicle: Yak-2 KAAB
BR Change: 2.3 —> 2.7
Reason: suffers from poor payload but has a very capable flight performance and cannons to defend itself and even do offensive work.

Vehicles: Entire yak prop line BUT the Yak-3U (yak-1 at 2.3 to yak-9UT at 5.7)
BR Change: +0.3 BR
Reason: incredibly oppresive, even some of the least used aircraft of this line are competent and are opponents that are not joked with. they are made for low altitudes but a yak will secure the altitude advantage most of the time, and it won’t matter if a yak “dives” for you while you are at 5km or at 2km, a true major downside that can happen in battles in low rip speed and compression.

Vehicles: Yak-3U
BR Change: 5.7 —> 6.7
Reason: True low altitude menace, it is miles better than the La-9, except for armament but 2 nose mounted shvak cannons are still no joke.

Vehicle: BI
BR Change: 6.7 —> 7.7
Reason: you can’t defend this plane, “low rip speed”, what are you possibly doing with 100% throttle, buddy your enemy is a prop, they think “keep track of 2 numbers” is a hard task, it isn’t pal.

Vehicle: Pe-8
BR Change: 4.3 —> 4.0
Reason: A pe-8 rarely makes it to it’s bases and it’s defensive armament looks fierce but it has one major downside, it almost only cover the rear and those spread out turrets have convergence issues.

Vehicle: Beaufighter Mk VIc and Beaufighter Mk X
BR Change: 3.0 —> 2.7
Reason: they are more like early bf-110s but fatter, less payload and a lot more firepower

Vehicle: Beaufighter Mk 21
BR Change: 3.7 —> 3.0
Reason: M2s are a nice addition but + 0.7 BR for them is overkill.

Vehicle: Spitfire F Mk. IX
BR Change: 4.3 —> 4.7
Reason: it is incredibly oppresive. just no words

Vehicle: Wyvern S.4
BR Change: 4.7 —> 5.7
Reason: Absolute and complete smite from 4.7 because of: a turboprop which requires a dive from 2 km at least to catch; even if it’s crippled after 3km of altitude, a wyvern will climb very well and energy is energy and lastly; 4 hispano Mk.Vs with 1,200 rounds total and dopamine printing ballistics, a Wyvern player who doesn’t just rush a base and be insulted by a friendly bomber can easily turn said firepower and speed towards it’s enemies and become a nuisance not only by killing but if the wyvern is dumb it can also just, keep killing tickets, run away and hide.
if it keeps a smart attack run and doesn’t hold S.

Vehicle: spitfire F Mk.24
BR Change: 6.7 —> 7.0
Reason: im sorry but is just not fun to fight, if a major tip to most props planes is “keep yourself as far away from a spitfire mk.24” it’s time to check the BRs.

Vehicle: KI-44-I
BR Change: 2.7 —> 3.3
Reason: -0.7 BR for -2 50cals is not reasonable, even the KI-61 at 3.3 suffers the same 50cal loss. you have to consider the sheer performance of the KI-44-II makes it a monster at it’s BR.

Vehicles: all A6M5 family
BR Change: 5.0 and 5.3 —> 4.3 / 4.7
Reason: I feel bad for zeros, I see the chasing me for minutes just for 1 kill. they basically depend on pouncing a plane in a third party or a zoom climb.

Vehicle: J2M3 and J2M5
BR Change: 5.7 —> 5.3
Reason: +0.7 BR for 2 more 20mils is once again, overkill.

Vehicle: KI-200
BR Change: 8.3 —> 7.7 / 8.0 (w special airspawn)
Reason: it’s a me-163 B, literally, (“the entire “rocket plane” class just needs an airspawn to avoid costly fuel takeoffs early on. Maybe like 50m above the runway would work.” still applies here.)

Vehicle: C.202
BR Change: 3.0 —> 2.7
Reason: just 2 breda 50cals next to 7.7s at 3.0, you’d think of a killer performance, but it more in line with a 2.7 plane, it need LOTS of lead and lots of times

Vehicle: C.202 EC
BR Change: 4.0 —> 3.7
Reason: it is insane how overtiered this plane is, everyone will do circles around you, I believe it should be a siderade to the C.205, a plane focused on performance rather than armament.

Vehicle: g.55 serie 1
BR Change: 5.0 —> 4.7
Reason: it only replaces 2 nose mounted 50cals for 2 wing mounted mg151/20 20mils, it is also a little heavier, once again + 0.7 BR for 2 20mils is overkill.

Vehicle: g.56
BR Change: 6.3 —> 6.0
Reason: it is more on par with the Ta-152 h-1 but with a lots less chances vs most super props.

Vehicle: VB.10-02
BR Change: 4.7 —> 4.3
Reason: it should come down since the engine isn’t upraded and 6 50cals is make you feel their weight (and over BR). Those 50 cals are the same as in the F6F, no full M20 API-T belt for them.

Vehicle: B-239
BR Change: 2.7 —> 3.0
Reason: even in the hand of a novice pilot, a B-239 is something to be wary of. climbrate, firepower and turntime, only downside is it’s slightly below average speed on a straight line.

Vehicle: Sakeen
BR Change: 3.3 —> 2.3 /2.7
Reason: just give up gaijin, it cannot be at 3.3, I know you want it to be rank IV, but just make a rank III or II and lower it. A very sad plane indeed.

Plus 1 to the yacks, tells you alot when you get out ran on the deck by yacks quite often in the wyvern. That combined with kite like flight performance makes them demons to face.

Really, no change in SU-30MK2 and SU-30MKK BR? how is it possible GAIJIN keeping those planes at 13.3 with a lot of FOX-3 when they have the same radar of the SU-27SM (N001VE), at least the SU-30 MK2 has the same radar (N001VEP).

Plus it seems GAIJIN isn’t even planning to change the payload of the MiG-29A (9-13) to its historical payload now that F-15 are about to be down BRed to 12.7

Give the next option of payload to the MiG-29A (9-13):

  1. 6xR-73
  2. 4xR-73 + 2xR-27R/T

I’M LOSING HOPE IN YOU GAIJIN

This is not decompressing, this is a holy mess.

Nope, countermeasures are useless at that BR, we don’t have any IR missiles at that BR unless you got a uptier. Gaiji just simply give it a BR extend I think, especially for CAS, but still weird, for SK60 it has 2 similar AGMs but 7.0. For A4E, we do have a lower BR FJ4B at 9.0,

really bad start mate

It doesnt have a rudder. it has the worst nose authority of any plane in the game.

please. Use the javelin at 8.3 as the example. better missiles, working radar and can turn good.

scimitar is seriously poor.

im not denying british jets are sometimes just as oppressive but it doesnt mean sabre is valid in becoming an oppressor itself

Javeline? good? What are u smoking man

J7W1

RB 6.0 - 5.7/5.3

The reason why J7W1 at 6.0 is due to its Type 5 canon get wrong muzzle velocity at 900m/s before, and also its FM is pretty good a long time ago, but now Type5’s wrong muzzle velocity has been fixed to 770m/s which is close to mg151.20, so its firepower has been nerfed a lot.

For its FM, J7W1 is pretty easy to lose control when its wings are damaged, even just a .50cal hit will lose control, and it is pretty hard to dogfight, even with FW190 and 109, the only chance is hand on or waiting team to help. due to its accelration is horrible, most of time its top speed is at 500-550 km/h, which means most of fighters can easily chase J7W and force it to dogfight, and of course J7W1 is pretty hard survive from a dogfight.

J7W1’s climb rate is also the worst one around 6.0, considering it is an Interceptor, so without air spawn means it is pretty easy get suffer from the enemy’s B&Z.

We do have a similar fighter DO335B, similar but powerful 30mm guns, better climb rate, but worse maneuverability. J7W1 should be compared with DO335B, which should be at least 5.7, not 6.0. Even at 5,3 if J7W1 doesn’t have air respawn point.

Look at the statistics, only ACE and new players will play them, very horrible K/S and K/D, even some of the players said it is good in CAS, but it only has 38mm penetration, and unlike YAK9UT or yak9k, once it get invovled into dogfight, it is pretty easily been killed.

F-4J(UK)

ARB
12.0 → 11.7

The performance of the plane should be equal to MiG-23ML. This one is the worst 12.0 Phantom so far with only Skyflash(DF) + AIM-9G also didn’t have HMD as well as no slats and upgraded engine at all compare to tech tree British Phantoms and it deserved to be 11.7

F-104S.ASA

ARB
12.0 → 11.7

This plane should go down for a long time since it got only 4 AIM-9L and if equip with Aspide-1A it can’t even have a gun and the F-104 shouldn’t face Su-27 and other advanced FOX-3. It performed worse since the flight model nerfed and this thing deserved better place.

Super Etendard

Give it something stock for grinding. Now it has nothing but guns with it’s speed that can’t catch anything in it’s BR. Please give some stock bombs and rockets to make it easier to stock grind or give it stock Magic 1 or move the Magic 1 closer to rank 2 for the least. It feel so bad playing it with nothing.

It needs an air spawn, would make it a whole lot more fun to play.

All bombers and attackers should get enough bombs to take out a single base stock.

SIDAM 25 (Mistral)

GRB
9.7 → 9.3

This thing didn’t have anything better than the ZSU-23-4M4 it has only the limited APDS belt, the Mistral is worse than Igla even the ZSU-23-4M4 got an upgrade Igla no way it should be higher than ZSU-23-4M4 and it should be better stick with most of the 9.3 Italy line up more than a couple of 9.7 tanks.

Its good at 8.3. not my plane of choice, ever. but oppressive in BR placement

Preserve/Do Not Remove the APDS Ammunition Belt for the Hispano-Suiza HS.831 (30mm) Cannon

In the developer community and technical discussions, it has been suggested to remove the sub-caliber armor-piercing discarding sabot (APDS) ammunition for the Hispano-Suiza HS.831 (and its derivative KCB) 30mm cannon. I am writing this suggestion in the hope that the official team will reconsider this decision and retain this type of ammunition.

As the core weapon of many Western European air defense systems during the Cold War (such as France’s AMX-30 DCA, the UK’s Falcon, and some naval vessels), the APDS ammunition in the HS.831’s 30x170mm ammo lineup is not only a historical fact but also key to vehicle balance in the game.

Historical Background

The Hispano-Suiza HS.831 (later taken over by Oerlikon and renamed KCB) was designed with the requirement to engage lightly armored targets in mind.

Ammunition type: 30mm APDS-T (such as the British designation L13A1 or generic type OPITS).
Physical performance: This round uses high muzzle velocity to provide extremely high kinetic energy.
Operational record: In ammunition manuals from the 1960s and 1970s, the 30mm APDS was the standard configuration for anti-aircraft gun crews to address sudden armored threats on the ground.

Vehicles currently equipped with the HS.831 (such as the AMX-30 DCA and Falcon) typically fall within the 8.0 - 8.3 battle rating range. At this tier, they frequently encounter T-54/55s, T-62s, and even early T-72 series tanks.

If only API-T (with approximately 60mm penetration) remains, these anti-aircraft vehicles will be defenseless against side attacks from tanks.

APDS (with approximately 100mm penetration) allows these lightly armored vehicles to defend themselves by precisely targeting the sides, tracks, or barrels of enemy tanks. This is a necessary means of survival for anti-aircraft vehicles in mixed-combat environments.

Additionally, the British Falcon is not equipped with radar, laser rangefinders, or electro-optical aiming systems, making effective anti-air defense operations difficult. Removing APDS ammunition would significantly reduce the survivability and utility of this vehicle at the 8.0–8.3 battle rating range. Removing APDS from the HS.831 is not only historically inaccurate but also severely undermines the gameplay diversity of high-tier anti-aircraft vehicles. We hope the game can adhere to its original goal of “based on real historical performance.”

i gave up spading it after experiencing a rudder moment

there is no way this is not a bug, the plane is straight unplayable man
