Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

With a massive weak spot where you can easily delete it with 37mm APHE frontally, lol

majority of tanks your fighting can push and kill you in that time its not as slow as IS2 but still very slow

Fair, it was always a sidegrade at best compared to the M4A3, no clue why they kept it at 6.0 for so long.

agreed, although the KV-220 armor profile can still act trolly with that gun.

Agreed

Agreed when it comes to mobility and crew count, disagreed with the armor profile. Most of the common guns at 5.3-6.0 should not have a difficult time looking for and hitting the sizable weakspots on the T1E1.

I don’t have much experience with the KV-220 besides seeing them wreck SQB sessions and playing it on my friend’s PC a couple of games, but the T1E1(90) seems like a solid counterpart.

Since reload times are used for balance purposes anyway, I think it’s still best to go with one of the 2 scenarios instead of doing all of the things:

  1. KV-220 stays 6.0, gets reload buff, T1E1(90) moves to 6.0
  2. KV-220 moves to 5.7, no reload buff (at least until the effect of the BR change on the stats has been monitored), T1E1(90)

I have always felt like the T1E1(90) was on the edge of 6.0 capability, so I would lean more towards option 1.

You are acting like the IS-7 isn’t a super rare event vehicle that you will only meet once every X0 games lol.

its not massive and in comparrison to other 7.3s like M47 for example which it can pen straight through front plate its far more armored

we need DECOMPRESSION not MORE COMPRESSION

The armour can be penned through the driver port with the Tiger II and other 6.7s fairly consistently.
The roof can also be penned with the Tiger II or even the M26 funnily enough.

yes but those shots are harder to hit than most of the 6.7s weakspots hence why its higher br

you can pen the M26 anywhere while he has to shoot relatively small spots

This is the exact probem with the games current BR compression. It’s no secret that the IS-3 is quite mid at it’s BR, however, if it was at 7.0 it would shred 6.0. T-29 has shit ton of weakspots, while the IS-3 has little to none frontally, and armor is obviously the main point of a heavy tank.

yeah most 6.3s got booted to 6.7 causing this horrible compression cause 6.7 was suppossed to be new 6.3 making the tanks genuinely unplayble

everyones trying to treat a symptom rather than the cause

Well yes, though you should play more carefully as a result. You have good enough reverse speed to go back into cover. The -10 degrees of gun depression also means that you can stay hull-down, which the T29’s turret is incredibly good, even for 7.0.

No one is discussing the one vehicle currently eating all those 6.7-7.3 heavies with ease (Flakpanzer 341).

No, he actually disagreed with me for quite some time, until he saw the same thing I did, it isn’t 6.0 worthy.

It can’t even kill some things at its own br, and you can say “the black prince isn’t common” well it’s vastly more common than a KV-220, and is better in all ways but speed.

I agree with the T29, T30, T34, and T26E5 all going up one br step.

Tigers IIs should all except the (P)s go up to 7.0, and the 10.5cm to 7.3

M26 shouldn’t really be 6.7 to begin with to be honest with you.

yes but it facing 8.3s in a full uptier is not the solution

Neither is keeping the T29 at 7.0 and letting it shred Panthers and Tiger Es in full downtiers.

6.7 was gonna be the 6.3 according to gaijin we need a whole br decompression

you prescribing tylenol for a gun shot wound the T29 is not the only op 7.0

its caused by a bigger problem which is compression

7.0 t29 is a symptom not the cause

This would also work, given that it a worse armored T-55

I mean sure, but it’s relatively special compared to the tech tree Obj 906.

With a longer reload too.

That’s the way. need more people to actually see this.
