Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

yes.

If USSR at 4.7 - Move the hell up to 5.3

This was mostly said when referring to A-10A Late, more capable aircraft could easily come even closer than 8km before launch, as overloading that slug past 5km shouldn’t be hard.

That’s true.
Lemming mentality is why we’re getting more and more map “updates” where flanking routes get cut off. Just mentioned it because teams in general aren’t good and won’t care about you at all.

They sense blood, especially if killed from early A-10 or Su-25 found at 10.3.

That’s true, but when your rounds are invisible the time it takes for them to reach the target is a bit less important, don’t you think ?

I’ve also tested this, at about 3800m of range, M247’s HE-VT takes about 6.5s to hit, meanwhile 2S38’s took about 5.5s.

I mean, nothing at this BR is going to kill planes 10km away and shooting at stuff 6-8km away is far more realistic, at least for OSA. I’ve just tried to show how 2S6’s missile isn’t that good even with it’s apparent much faster speed and best case scenario implemented. OSA has much better missiles against maneuvering targets at range and it’s really good explosive mass and trigger radius helps with connecting hits even in lower energy states. I doubt there could even be a competition between those two.

yeah this is why they dont make it go up

I’d move it up to 9.0 just because T-55AM-1 and Leopard A1A1 are there.

The contrast mode is just too good. No amount of flaring seems to help, Strela is death sentence. Maybe Gajin should remove this and put it back on a lower BR. Right now Strela hardcounters jets without long range weapons. Everything with just bombs or rockets just can’t be used cause of Strela.

Britain’s getting battered if these changes stick, some real outliers in arcade as well, GR7 at 13.0 not moving down, the phantoms not moved despite being worse than F4S in all aspects, GR4 depending on mode being considered on par or nearly on par with F15A’s.

Contrast mode does not work when there is terrain in the background
Not to mention strela has no radar and has to spot you with the naked eye
And anything with mavericks or other F&F missile will outrange it

Tbh that’s nothing new really. Britain’s only saving grace in ARB right now is the AESA Typhoon. That’s about it lol

Yeah who cares about the spitfires right ?

Bros basing his reasoning off of feelings XD

I think the Challenger 2 OES should go to 12.0 the most

Spitfires are irrelevant in a discussion about JetAge BRs which is what we’re talking about here. If I were to encompasse the WHOLE British Air-Tree I would say the highlights are the Spitfires (especially Mk.24 my beloved), Whirlwind, Mosquito, and the Meteors. That’s it.

Hard disagree if the BMD-4 exists at 9.7 with better missile reload and mobility while being a smaller profile.

My guy there’s three of us playing Russia 4.7 and we’re going well over 2 to 1 per game.

It’s not as if I’m playing with any great skill (I’ve literally had a 234/2 less than 25 metres in front of me, that I wasn’t aware of until he shot me) and errrr…

Leave 2S38 and T-80UD at 10.3 BR:
2S38 – this vehicle is already struggling at 10.3. It has very poor survivability (almost no armor, large profile, 3-man crew) and gets destroyed very quickly by any return fire. The post-penetration damage of the 57 mm gun is already insufficient against most MBTs despite its high rate of fire — not to mention large wheeled light vehicles with a lot of empty space inside, where even weak spot hits often don’t guarantee a kill. As a result, flanking becomes almost the only viable tactic, but even then 2S38 doesn’t have great mobility due to its high weight and not very powerful engine. It also can’t be considered a proper SPAA, since it lacks radar tracking and is not very effective against ATGM helicopters or jets using TV-guided weapons. Overall, the vehicle is very situational, and against experienced players its effectiveness is quite low.
T-80UD – moving this tank to 10.7 is also questionable. At this BR, thermal sights are basically standard, and T-80UD doesn’t have them, which is a major disadvantage in long-range and night engagements. The −4 km/h reverse speed makes T-80UD an easy target and heavily punishes any positioning mistake. Compared to other 10.7 MBTs like Leopard 2A4 or M1 Abrams, the turret traverse and gun elevation feel noticeably slow, and the gun depression isn’t great either, which further limits the tank in close combat and uneven terrain.

Ragebait used to be believable

sure thing, the matchmaker is fine from it

I’m just pointing out how these tanks actually perform in RB, not trying to bait anyone.

Popularity doesn’t equal balance.

Popularity like this usually indicates imbalance actually.
