Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

the R-73 performs better at close range and in off bore shots, this doesnt apply to the R-27ET which can be randomly flared from distance or by missiles being fired as it is meant for much longer range launches, a problem also found on the R-73 (and 9m to a rarer extent), but the 9M is generally better for surprise attacks and can resist countermeasures from a multitude of angles. .

The R-27ER has strong kinematic performance, not exactly new information and even more hardcore sims like DCS simulate the R-27ER as having significantly better time to target in range, the ER is rather easy to avoid considering the poor performance of myech and rubin (27 and 29 radar respectively).

lol centurions don’t load that quick guy.

And “balancing factor” for vehicles, okay, well, then why is the worst preforming heavy still at 6.7?

For the sake of balancing it should go down to its historical reload

Yes 9M use a shut off seeker when its wet flare. Its need to play in Boom and zoom style or side way attack. So R-73 in term of performane i think its good in dogfigth then 9M, Its use a gate seeker and thrust vector that make its good under 1.50 km.

i hope you know this bug was already fixed weeks ago

the 9M has a propensity for highly competent flare rejection when launched at the side or rear hemisphere, the missile can only be reliable flared by flowering the flares in a way it captures the flares more than the engine of the aircraft or the aircrafts airframe.

it was not.

no it was i can atest

For 9L and R-60M. Its same performance but R-60M have a bit low range. So its the same.

20 mm guns are still awfully inconsistent, most often not doing anything. genuinely worse than before their half baked “fix”
all that got actually helped was cannons of 27mm and larger.

9Ls are actually comically flare resistant sometimes, granted its very inconsistent, but ive seen a 9L lock harder than a magic on some people, most people dont expect it either since it technically doesnt have IRCCM

But the OP thing and monster are Magic 2.

No if you play about 1000 game you will see what i see.

the 9L has significantly better handling of flares and will often times reject them in some aspects compared to the R-60m

need i pull out the pathe clip of a loader actually doing that on the move in a mk5? shot every 4-5 seconds when you correct the framerate.

sod it i will: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcRpeSSwpvE this reel is from 1952 with mkV centurions fresh off the production line. No strange stuff at all, thats just how well laid out centurion is.

its performing about as well as the tiger 2 with soft turret. and better than the m26 pershings.

Actually the one in the chinese tree is one of the better performing heavies of the BR in december 2025
Tiger 2 SLA being the best obviously as its a 7.3 heavy at 6.7

Looks like its another case of major nation players sucking with a vehicle minor nation players prove to be adequate at the BR

this is about the R-73 and AIM-9M not magic 2

It should fire as rear aspect under 1.5 km and enemy have a normal flare not a large caliber, Thats will 100% get a kill.

what belts are you using? cause anything i use for air targets work within 30-60 rounds easily

I just kidding XD.

I use same as 9L under 1.5 at raer aspect, its work as the same.

Bro you did not just try to call the m26 a heavy tank…

Lmao post the real heavies there guy. Don’t be biased
