T-80UD should move from 10.3 to 10.7 or even 11.0.
Compared to T-72B and T-72B (1989) also currently at 10.3 it already had better armor, mobility and reload at the same BR, but now it got a reload buff a while ago too, making the gap even bigger. This tank is starting to become oppressive at it’s BR. Please do something about it.
Other than that, I agree with most of the proposed changes.
Reasoning: It’s worse than the Mirage 2000C-S4/5 while being at the same BR. Lacking the Super 530D’s that the S4/5 get whilst also being worse in performance and relying on a gunpod which also tanks it’s performance.
Reasoning: It has only 2 x Magic 2 missiles and relies on a gunpod which already puts it behind a lot of 12.7 aircraft and even some 12.3 and 12.0. Most notably there is no reason for it to be the same BR as the F-15A which you are planning to put at 12.7.
Yeah, I understand how you feel, and I get your point.
That said, statistically there are AA vehicles with higher kill rates than the AMX-30, as well as some with roughly the same performance, so personally I find it a bit hard to judge.
I’m not saying that all external statistics are perfectly accurate, but among BR 8.x AA vehicles, the Falcon and the XM-246 stand out with overwhelmingly high kill rates (around 1.3x). They’re followed by the ZA-35 and the AMX-30 DCA (1.17), then the ItPsV (1.05), and then the rest.
The Falcon is definitely a problem. But in reality, the XM-246 and the ZA-35 are also
Yeah, pretty much, but its small, fast and fairly agile, you can terrain mask really easily.
With most supersonics at 9.7, there isnt much that can catch you in the Buc S2 at low alt and at high alt, with no bombs, nothing can catch you. You overspeed above 60% throttle unless at 20k ft, then you can hit around mach 0.97.
Buc S2B is kinda sad since loosing A2A radar, couple with the 9Ls, you could have some fun, but the Seagles are kinda fun to mess with instead. Will be interesting to see if any SEAD gameplay gets added for the AJ168s to be of some use.
I mean, the APHE-I (SAP x3 + HEI x1) belt still exists.
They’ll struggle a lot more with cold war soviet stuff (I’m thinking of T-62s/T-55s), but blufor stuff will still be a couple APHE cupola hits away. :P
I feel like the F/A-18E caught a stray getting moved to 14.7, it’s clearly one of the worst planes at 14.3 and cannot compete with Rafales and Eurofighters, even the F-15C-GE is better atm.
How many vehicles of rank 8 do I need to have to research rank 9 of UK air? If I only have the 1st, 4th and 5th lines researched, do I need to go back and start a completely new line? Why did the two tornados go down to rank 7? Does this mean I just can’t get the typhoon until I research another line?
having two bombs, no flares, no chaff, no guns, no missiles, absolutely NOTHING except two bombs, and with how poorly stealth is modelled, its no harder to detect on radar than say, a B29? not to mention IR missiles track it the same as any other plane since you failed to model that also. Its truly just not worth using ever, pushing it down would atleast give it some hope since it wont fight 500 tunguskas
If they were unguided sure. They are laser guided GBUs. 10.0 is rather generous already when there are aircraft not that far off at 10.3. 9.3 is just insane.
Maybe 9.7? But 10.0 is too high imo, it cant fight against tunguskas at all, with the missiles perfectly tracking and the radar not caring abt its stealth at all, theres just much better options, especially considering its only 2 kills in total before you need to spend a good 4 minutes to resupply
Its an issue all the major nations have in game. New players tend to gravitate to the big 3 or their home nation, leading to a lower average skill compared to minor nations, which usually have more dedicated and/or experienced players.
