Background: The XM246 is an American radar guided AA, based on the M48 Patton, armed with twin 35mm Oerlikon cannons, which have an impressive rate of fire.
Reason: The armour on the XM246, for reasons that are not exactly clear, has the ability to resist high calibre/high powered rounds from tanks below, at, and above the BR. The turret, often the first part of the vehicle seen, is particularly unfortunate in its ability to absorb shots with little to no consequence. The 35mm cannon mean that it is extremely easy to knock out the cannon barrel of an opponent early on.

Since It’s going to 9.3 it’ll be in the same bracket as the Olifant and MTTD which both have Gen 2 Thermals. If it gets TOGS it would also have Gen 2.

Reason: Having better armour than her 8.7 successor, her only weakpoint is slow 16’’ gun, though it is still better than most 8.3 battleship guns.
That’s not what I asked a Puma could also easily penetrate a tank with APDS on side armor
