Hey everyone! Thanks for your feedback and comments on last week’s proposed Battle Rating changes. We’ve carefully considered your feedback and have made some adjustments which you can see below.
Below, we’ve highlighted some of the key new changes made based on your feedback:
-
As the IS-2 series (1944) of tanks are seeing their Battle Ratings increase, we’ll be adding the BR-471D shell to these tanks. The BR-471D is an APHE shell with more muzzle velocity and armor penetration.
-
The same will happen for the IS-6, where the BR-471D shell will also be added, with this vehicle’s Battle Rating increasing to 7.7 in AB and RB.
-
The KV-220’s Battle Rating will be increased to 6.0 in AB and RB.
-
The DTC10-125 shell will be added to the MBT2000, with this vehicle’s Battle Rating increasing to 10.7 in AB and RB.
-
We’ve decided to not decrease the Battle Rating of the Lvrbv 701 in RB by 0.7 (10.0 to 9.3). Instead, it will be decreased to 9.7.
-
As the Z-9WA is having its Battle Rating increased, we’ll be adding the AKD-9 air-to-ground missile to this helicopter.
-
The A32A, A32A Röd Adam and JA37D’s Battle Ratings will be decreased by 0.3 in RB.
-
The AJS37’s Battle Rating will be decreased by 0.3 in SB.
-
The Wyvern S.4’s Battle Rating will be increased by 0.3 in RB.
-
The Mi-28A’s Battle Rating will be increased by 0.4 in RB.
Below, we’ve provided a list of planned changes in addition to those that have already been announced previously, which are not related to the Battle Ratings of vehicles:
- All 90 mm M82 shells that had a lightweight powder charge will have it replaced with a more powerful one, which will lead to an increase in the maximum shell speed from 813 m/s to 853 m/s and accordingly an increase in armor penetration.
- ASU-85 — rate of fire will be increased from 8.4 to 10 rounds per minute.
- Imp.Chaparral — the MIM-72A which is the default missile will be replaced with the MIM-72C. The MIM-72E missile will also be added.
- Su-5-1 — only the Sh-354T Shrapnel shell will be removed. The OF-350M HE shell will not be removed.
Some vehicles we’d like to note are the T26E5, Tiger II (H), T29, T34 and other similar vehicles of Battle Rating 6.7 and 7.0. Taking into account the current and past changes to Battle Ratings, we’ve decided not to increase the Battle Rating of these vehicles for the time being.
We’re continuing to closely monitor changes in the effectiveness of vehicles around era-breaking Battle Ratings, and in the future we may return to revising the Battle Ratings and other characteristics of these vehicles.
