Planned Battle Rating Changes for October 2024

Ah yes, because the Tornado F3 Late and F4F-ICE are equal to the 12x AAM slinging Su-27SM. That is 100% a fair fight.

Me when I make a list instead of spamming it as 5 different comments (feedback not accepted)

Realistic Battles, J6K1, 6.7 > 6.3.
The Japanese J6K1 from the Operation Frost 2019/20 event is unplayable at 6.7. It faces jets that can outperform it and run circles around it. The J6K1 use to be 6.0 when it was added. It use to be fun to play and actually competitive. Now it is not fun to play due it it facing cold war jets almost every match. I am disappointed that I ground out the event back in 2019/20 to get this plane and now it is unplayable. At 6.7 it gets up tiered to 7.3 and 7.7 too often and gets destroyed. If it were at 6.3 it would be balanced to face other high tier props and some low tier jets occasionally. Please consider lowering the J6K1 to 6.3.
Thank you,

Because AIM 9D’s vs flareless oponents is strong

Yes.

Ja37D 11.3<11.7 add the aim-120 as it had in real life, this would also create a bigger difference between the two jakt Viggen. Bonus, this would make it so Sweden has more than one aeroplane with fox 3.

btw you dont even have the A-10C, so how can you speak on how it should be rated?

If the game was solely balanced off statistics, the Abrams would be 7.3 by now with how terrible the average USA player is. I cannot imagine it’s all too different from air, considering what I hear from my friend who is an air main.

I’m quite happy Gaijin is incorporating more community feedback and seems to be taking a more nuanced approach to balancing as well. This is a very strong step forward

JA37D with 2x AMRAAM would be 13.0. (A second JA37D could be added to fullfill this but it shouldnt move up as it would leave a giant hole and teh JA37D with AMRAAM would be one of the weakest 13.0s in game)

JA37D is currently 12.0 and is probably about right for now with its current loadout, although BOL needs to be fixed.

Kugelblitz (GroundRB): 7.0 → 6.7

The Kugelblitz with its 7.0 BR sits at a strange point in the German TT. There is the late WW2 lineup at 6.7 or the early ColdWar lineup at 7.7.
So naturally one plays the Kugelblitz at the higher lineup, not to uptier the 6.7 to 7.0.

To fit the lineup better, the Kugelblitz should therefor be 6.7

GRB/RB, Me262 A-1a/U4 . 6.3 > 7.3. The Me262 U4 is by far, alongside the Arado C-2, to be the most oppressive aircraft at their BR, And germany doesn’t even have a lineup at 6.3 other than Tank Destroyers, so moving it down will either bring 6.0 german vehicles to 6.3 that will be pulled into 7.3, or the U4 will be pulled into BRs such as 6.7, 7.3 and in some cases, 8.0. So it makes no sense for the U4 to be moved to 6.3 where it can cause further damage with no way of countering it.

GRB CV9030 9.3 > 8.7 this vehicle doesn’t have the mobility or any characteristics that warrant it being in the 9.x bracket. Of the 30mm bushmaster tanks the 9030 lacks the mobility and versatility all other vehicles carry. It is not a suitable 9.x vehicle unlike the other 30mm bushmaster carriers.

After playing the V1 for a few games I completely support this. The guns are no longer lazerbeams and its flight performance is really sub-par

Leclerc s1/2 with stock heat at 12.0 is such a great idea

Lack of BR increase for F8U is a joke and it only shows that gayjoobs have no idea/dont really care what’s going on in their own game

@Stona_WT sorry for the ping but with the Finnish KV-1A going down in br can we expect its price to match other 4.7 tanks of the same Rank? And for those unfortunate enough to buy the vehicle will GE be given back?

I mean all of russia’s SPAA’s are insanely undertiered and are insanely op the only one they’ve nerfed is the Strela cuz its 10.3 instead of 9.7 or 9.3 where it was originally. I don’t even know how the 2s6 is 10.7 when all of the other nations top tier SPAA’s are literally worse than it. Type 81 (sam) for example is 11.3 which is fine now cuz type 90’s but before it made 0 sense. and its worse by far than the 2s6. Also got a shulka now at 7.3 because russia needed more SPAA

Su-27SM has 2 datalink channels.
F-4F ICE has 4, and Tornado F3 has >/=4 as well.
I’m never going to fly Su-27SM or J-11A even if it stays 13.7, so it’s not a selfish request; it’s a request after a couple hours of cross-analysis with every other jet.
Mig-29SMT is better at BVR than Su-27SM despite having 2 less radar missiles, and 6 less store positions. Of course that makes Mig-29SMT less capable of WVR than aircraft with 8+ store positions.

PUMA VJTF (and Lynx) (GroundRB) 10.7 → 10.7

Same as the PUMA, the 30mm is underperforming (straight up bad), the armor is lackluster and the spikes are unreliable. Even with higher pen, as they don’t fly correctly.
Also Germany does not have a 10.7 now, 11.0 after the changes, lineup for the PUMA, so it would fit better into the then 10.7 with the Leopard 2A4 and the Vilkas (which also has Spikes) and the FlaRakPz.
It also wouldn’t face the then 12.0, now 11.7 in uptiers.

Also: The Namer30, also with a 30mm and Spikes, has a .3 lower BR with comparable survivability and armor.
