Planned Battle Rating Changes for October 2024

Air RB, J-35A . 9.7 > anything below. Reasoning = J-35A struggles massive at 9.7, Lack of flares and good missiles, constant uptiers to 10.0+ with lack of flares is unbearable. I will admit the turn rate is good and the guns can be powerful at times but to use the turn rate means draining speed MASSIVELY. Acceleration is also quite bad so when you drop like 400mph in 1 turn, it takes you a decade to get back up to the speed you were at.

Well… it depends on how they are modeled. I can see them being a buggy mess at 1/10th IRL performance for the sake of balance or something. Like ASRAAM having the same range as R-74s because the devs cant see how the Brits made a missile with greater range than the R-74. (Like they did with teh Stingers)

But yeah… The “Tornado Gr4 has ASRAAM at 13.0 is unfair and so my Su-24 at 11.3 should get R-74s for balance” posts are going to be funny to laugh at

It is still unbeatable in a dogfight and has insane speed and acceleration compared to everything else.

Or MICA IR (60km range hmmmm)[also need to fix MICA-EM range from 50 to 80km,…]

First of all no, I’m not a Soviet over all person. I enjoy balance, if you actually looked at my stat card I play a lot of Italy and the USA too.

  1. IRCM doesn’t allow you to be brain dead and avoid all incoming aams.
  2. Vikhirs are very easy to dodge with a single turn, and have a heat jet you can see far easier than any aim-9m (not to mention if you head on these planes, knowing what they are, that’s kinda on you, and not everyone carries Vikhirs because it weighs the planes turn time down)
  3. You can actually use the agms on the A-10C to kill aircraft.
  4. They are both rather Tanky, they’re strike fighters…
    5.”better flight performance” why because they’re faster by 200 mph?
  5. The A10C has a wayy bigger ammo count.
  6. Radar! Yes RADAR THATS PINGS THE EMEMY RWR, the HMD IFF does not ping rwr.
  7. You do understand I made the Su-24 post because the A-10C is so unbalanced, that it literally upset an entire br range? The last time that happened was the F-14…
  8. Of course I made a post about the fox, it’s unbalanced at 7.7, and is super super easy to play, I will make more posts in the future for USSR, Germany, etc, if they’re vehicles are blatantly broken.

Yep and those. But its french… So… will be the easiest to flare and will take 2 years for the TVC to work.

Good god, I remember that devblog. “Soviet engineers couldn’t imagine how Western engineers could make a better missiles with roughly the same area so everything will be set to the Soviet standard”. Jesus, I remember that.

ARB, F-4J(UK) Phantom II. 12.0 > 11.7. That plane have a wother radar, and anti air missilses than F-4J Phantom II from USA tree. One exception is missilses skyflash (Dogfight), but with the bad radar that missilse hard to use effectively (And the same for other British Phantoms). Another way to solve this problem is upgrade the radars on british phantoms.

Still not fixed, even after about a dozen more reports submitted for it. Its like the Alumnium armour on the CR2s. Once gaijin makes up some information and puts it in the dev post. It cannot be undone, Even with multiple primary sources

Tell that to the USA T-34, T26E5, M50 (Vietnam), M56, M41a1 etc.

T-54 is 7.7 at best, which, yes it can be annoying to deal with, but trust me, the guy driving it, isn’t having fun either. Ive spade it 4-5 times now in the different tech trees, personally I hate using it.

It’s not just the 292 that’s being moved up.
The Leo 2A4, the T-80B, the Moderna, the Ariete (P), the Abrams. Effectively all 10.0/10.3s, and a good number of 9.7s are being moved up.

The Bluewater BR 3.3 IJN Momi isn’t great already and the Chidori has only two instead of three turrets, only two instead of four torpedos and is a lot slower. The Chidori should /not/ be at a higher BR than the Momi.

Would be great if this would be changed especially because it’s the “top ship” of coastal Japan, maybe then more people would play it, because as of right now there is zero reason to do.

The fact that there is like a 10 year old bug report over RP just being wiped out if you play one too many battles too quickly, is all you need to know in regards to where the state of mind for these devs is.

But to come back around, yeah sorry. I just don’t support any of the proposed BR increases for the F-14s and A-10Cs, given the fact that they seem entirely based on what feels like a skill issue more than anything. The Aim-54 is incredibly easily to avoid now and the A-10C is only a threat if you get close. As it should be. Sling a 27ER at it or just about any other SARH, and it’ll most likely die. Avoid getting within range, and you’re fine.

I cannot say I fully agree, I do like the higher intensity of SARHs screaming at me and avoiding them, to have to hit them while their incoming or turn fight. But I cannot say I enjoy smokeless missiles that, without a MAW I am near certain to die to.

Its a better armoured (UFP) T-62 but also has LRF and 4 good ATGMs that it can fire in addition without any sort of deployment.

It’s funny, because the only good SARHs under 12.3 are all USA, French, or Israel… which news flash, are almost always on the same team.

A-10C SB/RB 11.3 → 12.0 - This plane performs a similar function to the Harrier GR.7, and while the GR.7 is faster, the A-10 has the MAWS system and more ordnance, keeping them similar to the same level.

The optimal solution would be seperate BR’s depending on the modifications you have equipped, IE. No 9M’s and the plane is 9.0, and when you equip the 9M’s it jumps to 12.0 or whatever, but that isnt a functionality currently unfortunately
