Planned Battle Rating Changes for October 2024

The maus is already 7.7 unless you mean it going down to 7.3

At least this must mean the Type 10 and TKX and such are finally going to be fixed right? These updates constantly negate their only advantage they have in the form of reload speed so it’s a direct nerf to their performance so surely a Type 10 can finally be fixed to not stall in rotation, have worse mobility than a Type 90 somehow, amongst the slowest turret rotation speed at top tier and the tank stalling out and unable to reach top speed when using the suspension, right?

In addition to that, the F5-C should stay at it’s current BR. It went to 11.0 for a reason, and it shouldn’t be facing 9.7 aircraft. It, the A10, and the Su-25 are the reason why 7.0-10.0 air is in such a poor state.

Ground RB, Leopard A1A1. 9.0 > 8.7

Currently there are several vehicles such as the OF-40 Mk.2A, TAM, Class 3(P), and TAM 2IP that are also at 9.0 or lower and are better than the Leopard A1A1. All of the other vehicles I mentioned have the same rounds as the Leopard A1A1 but also have laser rangefinders, the Class 3(P) and TAM 2IP also have the much better DM33 round instead of just DM23. The TAMs and Class 3(P) also get a lower SP cost and scouting because they are classified as Light Tanks. Just above the Leopard A1A1 at 9.3 there is the Leopard 1A5 and M48 Super which both have DM33, laser rangefinders, and thermals. Currently this setup provides little incentive to play the Leopard A1A1 so I suggest moving it down and perhaps also moving the TAM up or recategorizing the TAMs as medium tanks.

Also the mention that current XM885 very much stuggles to pen the sides of the T-80BVM, T-90M, and the a lesser extent the T-80U due to ERA with strong kenetic protection. This results in no penetration even with side shots in a lot of scenarios and the 1.5 second reload is more than enough time for the enemy to simply one shot you.

Leopard 2A4M CAN: The Maple Leaf Leopard old 2A4M suggestion

Do the same with the 8.0 and 8.3 F-86s as well, for the exact same reason.

I want my 5s reload for all the spacious NATO tanks like M48, M60, Leopard 1 etc.

GRB, Leopard 2a7v, 2a7HU, STRV 122 (all variants) . 12.0 > 12.3.

These are clearly a cut above all other tanks at current top tier, the BR should reflect that. Leopard 2a5, 2a6 are not on the same level as 2a7 or STRV122. Hope this can happen

Definitely, but rules are 1 vehicle per comment and I didn’t want to spam multiple comments.

Bruh have you played any of the MiG-23M(F)s recently? The radar is pretty much useless, the R-23R is basically on the same level as a R-3R, the maneuverability is horrible, acceleration below mach 1.0 is horrendous, 12 flares. This vehicle is worse sidegrade compared to a MiG-21bis.

I kinda liked it when a select few MBTs at high tiers had such an incredible reload rate, now it’s just becoming the new norm.

ARB, F-5C 10.7->11.0

It is a very competitive fighter at 11.0, moving it there was the right choice. Just because some players struggle does not mean we should put it down, think of what a good player can do in an F-5 of any variant. Every thread that has come up on this matter it has been proven the F-5C is competitive and the perfect example of a what a 11.0 fighter should be. Please reconsider this.

Vehicle: Fox
Gamemode Ground Realistic
BR Change: 7.7 → 7.3
Condition: Noticable nerf to the shells which is suggested by the undefined changes in the doc, if there is no change, then it shouldnt move.
(@Stona_WT Please can you comment on what the changes for the Fox’s APDS will do)

Reason:

it has:

  • No Stabiliser
  • No TVD
  • No LRF
  • No AGMs
  • Lowest fire rate of any Auto-canon in-game
  • Poor off-road performance due to being wheeled not tracked (also quite top heavy and can be highly unstable on rough terrain)
  • Limited protection

If its pen is dropped significantly, then it no longer justifies the increased BR and so its BR should drop down to 7.3 to put it on par with other equivalent IFVs

Then why are you even arguing? if it’s engine is worse than 10.3 MiG-21 then it being at 10.7 is not that big of an issue. again, the missile is not half as good/as much on any plane in the same BR, hell, it’s easier for me to get a Gun kill in J-7E than actually wishing my PL-5B to hit all it’s target, it has the same Flare resistance with Magic without the benefit of a Magic and Magic is a 10.0 missile.

MF/SMT is at 10.3, 21bis has extra pair of missile and better engine. and MiG-23 has SARH and Flight performance that is heaven to earth compared to J-7D. Plus MiG-21bis Saffir is miles better than whatever crap they put in J-7D.

GRB, Ra’am Segol, Merkava Mk3 (All variants) . 11.3 > 11.0.

These Merkavas have extremely lackluster mobility and protection compared to other tanks at the same BR (example Type 90 for mobility and arguably even protection at times or MBT2000 or Al Khalid which has better armour and mobility for China at a lower BR).

F-8U-2 is definitely too strong at 10.0

Kfir canard should be 11.0, due to lack of rwr, radar, and countermeasures.
It shouldn’t be facing F16’s in uptiers whatsoever nor gripens and su27’s

A-10C is good where it is and also, it’s not used for air attacks it’s for ground missions bud.

It can’t. Not disagreeing with it going down to 11.0. But the worst it can face at the moment is something like the Tornado ADV or Phantom now the F-14s are going up. It could never ever even see F-16, Gripens or Su-27s as they are all greater than 1.3 BR higher than the Kfir Canard at 11.3 (MM is a max +/- 1.0)
