What makes the F-14B any different? The Iranian Tomcats Fakour90s and R27s are much better than the F-14B AIM54Cs and AIM7Ms. The 54Cs feel so slow compared to the Fakour90s, and the R27s pull harder than the 7Ms.
Its easier to say you want to just get easy kills on 12.0 planes.

BR: 6.0 > 5.7
Reason: Echoing what some others I’ve seen have said, it’s BR is a bit too high. The Chinese and US tech don’t have a solid 6.0 tank line up. In full uptiers it has to go against T-44 100s and ATGM vehicles.

So? it has zero guns. Its missiles are easily defeated by flares. It is very limited in niche.

Ground Realistic Battles, American T34. 6.7 > 7.0.
The American T34 is a solid heavy tank with 280mm pen. It can penetrate almost any tank at its BR, even a Jagdtiger from the front. The side head armour is 150mm thick and its curved. Tanks like the T 34 85, can’t even penetrate it from the side head.

Reason: It’s a bit overpowered, being well armored and having really high pen solid shots. In full downtiers, it can go against 5.7 tanks like the Tiger E and Soviet T-34 which is quite unfair.

Well if you think that a F16a(with 9l`s), mig29, F14b on the same BR is near fair than you might have a clouded judgement ;)
BTW f15a is still higher br with a worse flight model and worse ground armament…

T-29 is fine at 7.0, since APHE big boom. T-34 should be 7.0. Both devastating hull down tbh

Yes it has a little bit (emphasis on a little bit) more pen! However if you are not… bad… you will understand that the reload rate difference is what makes the Tiger2H’s gun better. Jagdtiger can’t compete in a real match against real people when its reload is just a little faster than 2 shots a minute…
Not if Tiger2H is there, since 2H is simply worse overall and T34 is DEFINITELY worse, and T34 would have to go up too.

So I stopped trying to spade the F-14 IRIAF because of the constant uptiers. I guess I’ll stop playing the plane altogether. I never got to the Fakours so I don’t know if the concern warrants moving them up in BR. From what I saw only one or two aircraft would die to Fakours each game. I’m not a content creator and can’t wipe out 2/3 of the team at the start of the match with missile spam. That’s the only way to progress at that tier now anyway.
Aside from good airframe, the missile kit isnt 12.7 material bro. Sparrow and aim9L is pretty bad considering R27ER is in the same br (maybe even lower, i forgot)
