Yeah, its been like it since the last BR change
so you only play the premium one. Magic 2 only great at because of its faster speed its TTK being much better than R-73, the Gatewidth IRCCM however, still the same as R-73 DESPITE Magic 2 having IRCCM (iirc) almost like Python 4.
Idk why you’re this mad just because your favourite aircraft really destroy its BR Bracket.

LRF using Artillery tanks have ruined sniping maps like Sands of Sinai at it’s BR. Old sniping wars between M48 vs T-54s and AMX-30s vs Leopards, basically doesnt exist with these vehicles here to bop people at range with a keystroke.

Having now used it plenty it is crazy this is the same BR as things like Marksman and Gepard, it’s smaller, faster and has AHEAD Ammunition which is pretty solid, and excellent thermals.

ARB, F-4C (USA). STAY @ 10.3; add AN/AAQ-8 IRCM pod to provide infrared countermeasure capability [along with possible armament upgrade?], OR move 10.3>10.0 as planned.
Once again, we should be finding ways to decompress aircraft BRs, not compress them downwards when there are options to make aircraft competitive that are historical (or at least mechanically feasible) at higher BRs. The F-4C is a perfect example. It is a fast and capable airframe hampered by a lack of countermeasures. However, per this accepted suggestion report ( Community Bug Reporting System ), the aircraft could be equipped with the AN/AAQ-8 IRCM pod that- if I understand its function correctly- would behave in a manner similar to the system installed on the Su-39 and Su-25T. It could also be equipped with chaff pods similar to those available on the F-100 and F-105. This would be a unique and interesting feature that would allow the aircraft to remain competitive at a higher BR, taking pressure off of lower BR aircraft and simultaneously making the F-4C a more enjoyable aircraft to use. If further capabilities are required to improve its performance and make it suitable to for a higher BR in ARB, I propose adding either AIM-7E or AIM-9J, both of which the aircraft historically carried.
However, if these options are not viable, then the BR should be reduced to 10.0 as planned. Even with the AN/AAQ-8 IRCM pod, it might only be viable at 10.0, considering the other aircraft in and around its BR.

F-14A IRIAF either way deserves the nerf, as long we still don’t have another decompression. I do wouldn’t disagree if Gaijin decided to compensate the nerf with little buff like giving R-73, but that’s story for another day. F-14A IRIAF in 13.0 IMO would still get so much downtier since Mirage 2000C-S5 would also go up to 12.7, whilw F-16A Block 10 go down to 12.3. It would be still broken at downtier especially with how brainless are Premium Clowns, but, in a full uptier, it’s a total punishment for how broken this aircraft is.

THAT and they’re frankly weak tanks, I see them made fun of more than I see them used. You have good frontal turret protection but that’s about it, the round is now nothing special for 8.7, the reload is not ideal especially for western tanks, LRFs are now extremely common at the BR and the speed is categorically bad. As many have said before, it’s a lot like using Conqueror with a faster reload at a FULL BR higher than Conqueror.

The problem with the IRIAF’s uptier is that at the end of the day, it’s a BR change being made because premium spammers are just dumb.
The F-14B already struggles at 13.0, and that plane is better than the IRIAF in damn near every regard except the AIM-54s are worse than the Fakours.
While the best solution is decompression, I think gaijin needs to learn when to put their foot down and avoid moving something if the reason its doing so well is because people refuse to learn how to fight it. Because all you do by appeasing the bad players, is they learn nothing, and a vehicle becomes worthless as a result.

Yeah, its mostly this. I saw too many people complaining about the F-14A in stuff like the Tornado WTD61 (one of the best possible aircraft you could be in to defend against an F-14A) because they couldnt fly in a straight line at a base

like as it stands the 12.7 Roster absolutely clowns the IRIAF, as does about 1/3 of the current 12.3 roster.
Yet you’re putting this plane up against 13.0s?
we really saying the IRIAF and Gripen A, F-15A’s, Su-27s, etc are on par?
