Planned Battle Rating changes for August 2025 (updated 16:00, 15.08)

It’s actually really easy to rationalize this change. You need to give Gaijin money to obtain BMD-4s and 2s38, while Begleitpanzer is regular tech tree vehicle and therefore doesn’t get premium bias.

BR Change: 12.3 to 12.7 BR

It’s ridiculous that this high performance gen 4 aircraft is allowed to bully medium performance gen 3 aircraft without PD radar or large numbers of CMs. AIM-7F (7M and P are functionally identical in kinematic performance, DL capability does not matter when fighting gen 3 aircraft without ARH) blows every other missile barring R-27E out of the water and it’s coupled to an airframe that wrecks all gen 3 aircraft easily with a top-tier capable radar. Anyone defending this clearly undertiered bully is out of their mind.

Ohh great another BR change post were we all piss into the wind as nothing we ever type ever gets sorked on.

Looking at the NF changes most make sense yet some are just daft.

Like can you not keep increasing the Peacock class Corvette BR for five minutes yet the more devastating Project 204 Corvette remains 3.7 for years now without change.

You might as well give it four hundred more 3" shells (similar to how the Type 143 received extra shells) if it keeps going up as 115 shells doesn’t last at the rate they’re expended in battle.

Also why change the place in the research tree? now it looks even more dumb as it going Motor Gunboat, Frigate, Corvette not gradually small, medium, large.

Now to see the pitiful Peacock class as an end of line vessel vs the Type 12 ASW Frigate is hilarious, it would be like seeing a Mirage III after the Mirage 4000 or a T-64 after the T-90M, it just doesn’t make a single piece of bloody sense.

An that after the fact the Peacock class & Type 12 are in fact bluewater ships not these poxy coastal vessels as the game calls them.

Thus:

Peacock class Corvettes (Both) 4.3 to 4.0

Reasons as above, also keep the trees as they’re as nobody will effectively grund the corvettes now after you which out the Frigate to be lower in the tree.

BR Change: 9.3 → 9.0
Reasoning: This plane has NO AAMs and NO flares. Flies like a bus, yet its BR is full of other planes with AAMs. At a full uptier to 9.3, it faces A-10s with AIM-9Ls, versus which it cant do anything, but hope they are afk/blind.

yak28 lost its flares, it only has chaff now. i totally agree with you tho.

They are getting AMRAAM as per the CM chat thingy

Mig 21 bis 11.0>11.3

No super sonic, especially a mig 21, with all aspects should be seeing 10.0s who dont get flares. It was fine at 11.3 and it should move back up.

I’d have hoped the Gripen A received the same treatment

Mode: Air RB
Vehicle: Kfir Gderot (“Kfir Canard”)
BR Change: 11.0 to 10.7 BR

Clearly inferior to J-7D in both performance, CM count, missile performance and count, yet is higher BR. Ridiculous. PL-5B and PL-7 are both superior to AIM-9G and J-7D can have double the number of missiles. Kfir Gderot also suffers from a lesser strain of “harrier disease” where it has a portal to the sun instead of an engine. Against even rear aspect missiles, flares require 75% throttle and deceptive maneuvering to function. Not so when compared to J-7D.

Dont quite get it either. Because the uptier they will inevitability always see will get them slapped something fierce.

At which point its 99% identical to the Gripen C bar A2G and some minor engine differences

So kinda pointless

For 9 years it’s been in 5.7 in tier 3 and was extremely rare to encounter, when I had one in the team I knew I’d won easily, now at 6.0 it struggle a lot to keep up when uptiered, and they want to put it at 6.3 where it can’t pen almost anything… My 6.0 lineup would be ruined if they apply this…

If they let it stay at 6.0 is not good but also not too bad…

Mig 21mf/smt 10.3>10.7

They are far too dominant at 10.3 and are some of the main reasons why so many super sonics are sat at 9.3, they just ruin the matchmaker for anything that doesn’t get flares and cant dog fight a mig 21. The mirage 3e is comparable to them at its sat at 10.7.

Still different, no?

About as different as the FGR2 and FG1 are. It would be 13.7.

Suggestion,

Project 204 Corvette 3.7 to 4.0/ or to 4.3 if the Peacock class goes up

The Project 204 Corvette has been a thorn in the way of balance, while objectively worse vessels keep going up, this powerhouse ship remains the same introduction BR it has always been.

Who cares if you main armament is blocked by your superstructure when your tertiary armament the rocket assisted depth charges are up front & are devastating in cqc, an even then a slight turn will unsteath the main battery that’ll cause devastation against an inexperienced team.

The Corvette should finally go up already.

So where it belongs?

Top speed ≠ hours power

While the museum have the tank and knows the technical details it will be a reliable source
