I hate to say this, but premium lorries are often bought by beginners and often have unusually poor results. This is especially true for the Soviet Union.
@Smin1080p_WT Could you comment on the F-104s.ASA. I dont see how its ever going to have the chance at being moved down as not enough players play it to get stats on it. So is there anyway to see it moved down at all or is it stuck in purgatory?
thats why I hard lock targets locker than I normally would, defeats the whole purpose of it being an ARH but hey at least you have almost a dozen 50G missiles xD
It has issues that could and should be resolved to make it more competitive. Especially since all others got access to the ACLOS and the Stormer HVM didnt.
Even something as simple as removing the tracers from the Starstreaks so pilots couldnt easily see them from miles away and dodge them would help a LOT

Its same for every nation, and gaijin balances by statistics. Besides 2S38 is indeed nothing special to write home about. Sure HE-VT with IRST lock,thats good, APFSDS is ok, have bad spall cause sub 75 mm, and you can just oneshot 2S38 basically anywhere.
don’t forget player stats and the absolutely arse matchmaker at high BRs
as an (ARB) example, for the last month the british eurofighter had a winrate of 61.2%, with a KpS of .95 and KpD of 1.27
the italian eurofighter had a winrate of 46.5%, with a KpS of .85 and KpD of 1.09
15% difference in winrate between identical aircraft, why?
I feel like these (and to an extent previous) BR changes miss a key point:
The goal of balancing is not balance itself, it’s enjoyable game experience for the players. That’s why, when balancing unpopular and rarely played vehicles it’s better to err on the side of high performance - them being rare means any negative impact of overtuning will be minimal since people just don’t face them often enough, and high performance will attract more players to them, which will produce more comprehensive data.
Instead what happens is a death spiral of nerfs where the more unpopular a vehicle is, the greater proportion of its players are those able and determined to make it work regardless, the more biased the data gets, the more unpopular vehicle becomes after further nerfs, and so on in a loop.
Edit. Also, breaking up popular lineups should be done with extreme caution, since that can detract from how fun the game is much more than a minor balance adjustment could help. As things stand, a lot of these BR changes feel self-destructive.

Yeah, but then it would be impossible to guide it without thermals. they would either have to give us thermals stock or make the tracer only visible to us.
Neither of which I think is necessarily a bad idea. or just reduce the size of the tracer by 50%. Would make it a lot harder for pilots to see but should still be perfectly visible without TVD

Depends on team composition and players. One side might have gotten more Su-30s or Rafales who knows, when i played yday, friend had Su-30i had Rafale,there was entire team of 30s we were in, then like three Rafales and that was it, enemy had different mix.

BR Change: 10.0 - 10.0
Has no armor even for current BR, only DM 33 shell from 9.3 lineup, 105 mm instead of 120 mm on Leo 2k, no autocannon or 50 cal, no thermal as well. Tiny bunch of players has it, so whatever statistics you got, its irrelevant (Same thing with French vehicles: less players - higher results - almost comically high BRs)

F-18C is lighter, and AIM-120C is worse than AIM-120A. No reason for the F-18 to be a lower br than the F/A-18
