This is nonsense - play 20k Air RB battles at prop BRs and you will realize that there is since 2019-2021 no difference between player skill on average between the big 3 and minor nations in general.
The 4.0 Spit and A6M are simply rat planes - meaning that their speed is way too low to be aggressive and they have to wait for positional mistakes of their enemies. The Yak-3s turn worse but their raw performance allows them to take the initiative in a fight - quite simple.
From my pov the perfect example for actual player skill is the 4.3 Yak-3. If you compare them with the French premium version you will see that the average USSR pilot performs way worse. And this is imho based on an experience advantage of minor nation pilots vs Big 3 pilots and partly way better nation allocation via the MM for French players.
Yeah I never got the zero hype. The plane relies on the enemy being stupid and turnfighting you. The yak3 and spesificaly the yak3u turn worse but they have everything else maxed out so you can
outclimb almost everything
outturn the stuff that outclimbs you
outrun the stuff that outturns you
whereas the zero just outturns stuff and nothing else. Something like a j2m2 is way scarier than any zero will be
To be fair: A hell of A6M pilots are real masters in the art of “ninja-climbing” meaning they manage to climb (almost) undetected and that you can’t risk to go low without being sure to know where all players are - nobody wants to have a A6M above and near them…
Totally agree. Whilst flying a P-47 D-28/30 my primary goal is always to get asap above 6 km to be safe from Yak-3Us it is way harder trying BuZ them at lower alt as their low alt power is insane.
A bit of biased question, is it possible to an lower battle rating of the Su-25T and Su-39 at lower battle rating in ground realistic battles? I’ve noticed that the only difference in weapons between it and the Su-25BM is the 16x 9K121 Vikhr pods.
Obviously I can note airframe which is far better when compared to the Su-25BM and any other Su-25 variant but the survivability is lacking when saying that is a flying tank, but the speed is much more superior easily reaching around 1 000 Km/H with full loadout.
Yep. Given it’s a papper project there’s no obsticles to alter its reload time.
If it was up to me I would remove all current 8.7’s and change them with S.Dakota, post-refit Nagato and whatever papper 35-40k ton ship soviets had. Alwell as bump all current 8.3’s + Vanguard to 8.7
not a bad idea, but you will have to move more planes up than just those 2.
you would need to move every 9g/j/p/d, r60, shafir 2 slinger up that has either good FM or flares. also they would need to raise the max br and raise everything above up too.
the only places i see that the J-11 outclasses the F-15C is in AoA, Raw missile count (8 vs 10) the IR missiles (PL-8Bs are likely the best IR in game currently) and MAW (not enough CMs to leave it on auto-dispense sadly and has some crucial blindspots)
while the F-15C is better in acceleration, speed, Radar missiles (120 is better than PL-12, + can carry 8 vs 6), CM count (96 vs 240), and a few more smaller niche categories that are of low importance to air RB or of little affect in general
given i haven’t played the J-11B (i do have it and likely will after spading J-10A) but it doesn’t look as good, and given current meta, speed, and acceleration to speed, to sling your FOX-3s the fastest and Furthest matters and given the J-11B is worse in the airframe and missile side of things it doesn’t compete as well as F-15C
given this is not a massive difference, which is why I say they should be equal BR, if not the J-11B one step lower, but responding to the Initial post,
the J-11B should NOT be 14.0 if F-15C remains 13.7, I’d personally place the F-15C above the J-11B in terms of ability, but we should be atleast able to agree, that they are not different enough in ability to really warrant being different BRs, and should be in parity, if one is 14.0 the other is 14.0, the other 13.7, both 13.7
Tbf the 906 is still good, stabilizer and reload being its main strengths, do wish its mobility was better but its what it is. T54 is basically only good in a full downtier, i could see it being on par BR wise as the M48 if the M48 didn’t have the instant kill cupola. BMP-1 is always a solid choice but the 9.0 uptiers make me wanna die also the plethora of autocannon rats around here. The shilka is a sidegrade to the yenisei imo, worse pen but more lead down ramge for CAS. Ill stick with the 37mm though since its a better multirole, its a meh lineup, the To-55 is probably solid but i dont have it so no real comment.
Nah. Obj. 906 isn’t good, never has been, unless you get a clue less enemy team.
Xm800 spam makes it pointless to play around that br. 8.7 won’t even be enough, but if that’s not bad, you get the Bradley at 8.3 which is good too.
All the Russian light tanks are pointless, they can’t out turn an xm800, survive a hit, etc.
8.0 used to be one of my favorite brs. Now the TO-55 is the only borderline useable tank. But your still a light tank with just extra armor.
T-54s were always meh, once those went up, they’ve been pointless.
ZSU-37 > zsu-23 the radar is more accurate on the 37
Nope I just have USSR as a whole other than maybe 5.7
