Planned Battle Rating changes for August 2025 (updated 16:00, 15.08)

Its allready 12.3

Still a m2k with magic2s therefor cannot go below 12.3

good point, move the harriers and the Ayit to 10.0

Yes it can
Its like mf1c but insted radar missiles u have good fm which doesnt give u much anyway

This tells me everything you have to know

What?

The radar missiles on the f1c is just dead weight. the m2k not having those radar missiles is not a tradeoff its just an upgrade. So you just get a better f1c at the same br

True, all the yak3s are insane at that BR. I can play as braindead as I can still maintaining 4:1 K/D ratio while in other planes I am really cautious about my gameplay.

Even the Yak-9U at 4.7 and yak9p at 5.0 are still beasts with pretty same results for me.

Yak3s could go up to 4.7, Yak-9U to 5.0 and still be just fine.

yak3u is so funky it just outclimbs almost everything. It outturns everything that outclimbs it and it outruns everything that outturns it

I jsut got it and it feels like cheating

R-73 is also easy to oneflare, they both use same IRCCM ig.

It is far easier to flare off the r73 compared to the magic2 bc the r73 comes of the rail noticably slower

They literally have copy paste stats for their seeker and IRCCM,so they are same when it comes to flares.

I dont think you understand what I mean. Gatewitdh irccm works bc the fov gets small enough that it only sees the plane and not the flares. So it works close up and becomes useless long range since the fov will still see the flares. The slower the missile is the more time the fov stays big enough to see the flares. This is an issue for gadewith irccm missiles. And its why the pl5II is the most flare resistant one

I disagree
The 530f arent as good like r24 ofc
But they dont trigger rwr and the caff filter do kick sometimes
Its great in top down attacks and i do usualy get 1 kill from them

Your opinion doesnt matter sorry. It is statisticaly horrible. They have nonexistent chaff filtering so it gets one chaffed without even needing to get into a notch bc it uses the horrid seeker from the normal 530 basically

R-73 reaches top speed slower, so you have to be closer for the missile to enter the range of “FoV too small for flares to work” when compared to Magic II.

It’s like how some missiles that are extremely fast can ignore flares launched at close distances. Compare PL-5B to Magic I and AIM-9G, PL-5B is the least likely to eat a flare launched near to impact due to being the fastest.

Magic 2 literally goes for flares on headon when fired at 1.5km. Also PL-5II is literally the most flare hungry missile with IRCCM.

At 12.0-12.7 you mostly fight clueless players that dont even flare headon missiles. I wouldnt take that as evidence for the missile being good

First of all dont fire headon ir missiles. Second of all the magic2 has a very bad fuse timer so it might just be not exploding
