Extreme BVR the 120C-5 is better (if the target is maneuvering) as the R-77-1 has a lot more drag and loses more speed in turns.

In extreme BVR the AIM-120C-5 is better only if your enemy has no brain, and even then, the Fakour beats them all

yeah you are right calling the mica a bvr missile is a little bit of a strech but the r77-1 is still the best bvr missile by far.

R-77-1 and the MICA have an identical TTT at 20 km, with the MICA having a much better seeker and lower drag
Thats just an easy way out of actually balancing vehicles. Everyone knows decompression is the answer. That’s not what we’re talking about rn.
I’d go one step further and remove that damn 45mm APHE round from all of those Yaks, the best turnfighters in the game don’t need the ground vehicle seal-clubbing ability as well.
I’d be fine with the dedicated ground attackers keeping the 45mm APHE (TIS MA, Su-8, Tu-1) provided they also get put up in BR as compensation because they’re slow and fat targets for literally everything below 6.7.

In the context of the simulator battles, it has nothing that allows it to fight on equal terms with aircraft at this BR (for example, the F/A-18A), its weapons are of the same quality, but sometimes inferior in quantity. Also, due to the current balance, ASB 12.3 never plays at the top of the list, which is why it constantly has to fight with aircraft of BR 12.7, and it cannot withstand the F-16 and MiG-29. In terms of its capabilities, the aircraft is approximately equal to the F-4S at BR 12.0 (although even its BR is overstated).
You have to understand that people payed 100 dollars for the F-14A IRIAF. The only choice would be to move it down with every missile and capability it has now
