A J35XS with Aim-9Bs or Es will be the best 9.3 plane, and that loadout would deserve 9.7.
That can then go to 11.0
But premium, it wouldn’t sealclub as effectively which means they lose out on money so…

Much faster then the J and with a smaller seeker fov, it makes them far easier to launch ahead of the target without them seeing a flare. I love the R13M1’s especially since its faster its less likely it would see the flare before it catches its target.

actually maneuvers better since it has better fins (16.2 deg vs 18 deg maximum fin AOA)

Its flight characteristics are comparable to most 9.3/9.7 fighters, and, surprisingly, it easily outperforms them in dogfights due to its energy. Will the 9b dominate? It’s easy to dodge the missile, but to shoot it down, the target needs to lose speed and be within 6… What are its flight characteristics compared to 10.3? 10.7? 11.0? 11.3? 11.7? There is no acceleration dynamics, maximum speed? - No. Maneuverability? - One circle and it becomes prey without speed… What does it have for 10.7 with its flight characteristics? It was already at 10.7 - K/D hit rock bottom. And they brought it back. Before you say anything about an aircraft you haven’t even touched, fly it.
10.7 is compressed and given it saw more uptiers than downtiers it did worse for a while, besides a lot of new players don’t know how to actually play the J35’s.
I wont lie i have a very mid KD in the XS, i dont care for it, my KD in the J35D when it was 10.7 is pretty good though.
Had to compress when the file size limit was 5mb and i dont have the original clip anymore lol.
Biggest thing is too keep ypur speed up, what i was doing here is a free way to get clipped

and how would something like say a Javelin at 8.3 do anything against a J35XS in a full uptier?
It can already barely do anything to the F-104s and Mig-21s it can face at 9.3.

9.7 has 20G rockets in a significant portion of opponents, some of which have countermeasures. Aim 9p,G. Nevertheless, even 9.7 with aim 9B/E is better than what is currently available.
Why do i get the feeling you would try to dogfight a A10 while at low speed and proceed to fall out of the sky from 3k m?
