The guy I was having the debate with was wanting the dutch hunter moved back to 9.0, of which it dominated not too long ago.
Will easily outperform a few aircraft already at 9.7
I was thinking more the Hunters. A well played Harrier would probably still win against an A-4 and most also have CMs, but something like the Hunter F6 has weaker missiles, no CMs and not even necessarily a better dogfighting performance

I personally don’t think the F.6 or GR.1 should sit at 9.7
I was comparing the ayit with the GR.3 or AV8A/Cs fitted with the 9Gs and countermeasures.
the F.6 is pretty much a straight downgrade from the Ayit.
SRAAM fixes aren’t looking likely as it only affects britain and the bugreports are getting very old…
The HF-24 should go down in br. At 9.0 it is quite outclassed and they are never seen in game now only a few months after the event.

TBH I have been finding it pretty solid at 9.0 for air RB (been using it to grind the F106 event)
GRB however I would agree, it should likely drop because it has no MCLOS, no AAM, no RWR, no flares, no CCIP, no CCRP.
Its a dumb bomb bomber and it fights SAM systems, 8.7 or even 8.3 would be more suitable.
It should lose airspawn. Its crazy it gets airspawn but something totally and completely unarmed like the Buc S1 doesnt.

No idea how that is still 9.7. What makes the Ayit work is that it is quite slow (compared to MiG-21, F-104, and other spam at 9.3-10.3), but it has AIM-9D which easily bridge the gap. Hunter is slow while having missiles that only seem to work within 1KM or they blow up. I just don’t get it.
Yeah… Its all because they use to be good. But these days. are barely worth taking. But multiple reports to buff them. Including one to double their effective range. Only 3 years old that report
