PL5s are more like arrows / sneaky as burner is short

j7d has a way higher kill potential. Id say nf5a and j7d are about equally dominant and its down to prefereance

They should be good since you will be fighting flareless planes accasionally. All missiles at 10.7 are usable. Just pick your targets better

Its fast boy for sure. M8 im average player and have no issue flaring PL5 from 700m so doubt anyone does.
well if you are firing at someone who is looking at you thats on you. If they are firing on aware people thats on them. Its just how non irccm meta is. You shoot at people who arent looking.

The pl5 is so good bc you have good range and your missile is so fast the time frame that they can react is smaller
I had a few instances where it’d flat out ignore my JA37’s flares, probably just because that engine is ungodly hot but yk.
for all the rear aspect missiles, the PL5B and Magic 1 are definitely the most flare resistant.
