Yeah… 1/4 of my deaths in SB are from TKs. (Almost always US premium players in aircraft with IFF)
ground sim is even worse. People see you spawn and then still shoot you
392 mm penetration is not enough even for playing at 11.3.
nah
nah x2
Vehicle: Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P
Gamemode: Ground AB RB
Change: 5.7 —> 6.0
Reason: It has thicker frontal armor than the tree Teiger, making it difficult for other vehicles to penetrate this vehicle’s armor. Its maneuverability is not so great in forward movement, but extremely good in reverse, and its maneuverability is excellent.
Even including the fact that it does not have an APCR, I consider it to be in the same class as the Tiger E.
by the way, is it possible to have two phimat pods on a plane? i remember seeing a picture of a mirage f1 with two of those… could be photoshopped tho
Vehicle : Rooikat 105
Gamemode : Ground RB
Change : 9.7 —> 9.3
Reason : This vehicle has one step higher BR than the Rooikat MTTD even though it has the same bullets and TVD. I consider BR 9.3 to be reasonable.
id say give it its AIM-9Ls from desert storm and drop it to 10.3 of which is the same BR as the A-10A early
The only one that I know of for certain with 2x Phimat is the Tornado F3 that carried Phimat pods in place of fuel tanks during Op Granby (but I dont see why the Mirage F1 couldnt necessarily)
and I think the Harrier Gr3 could actually run 3 at once, 1 in the centre line between the gunpod and 1 on both of the outer pylons (where the aim-9s are mounted) but I think that was generally considered overkill.
The disadvantage to Phimat is that you are generally giving up a pylon (the F3 could also run a Phimat pod in place of an Aim-9 or on the normally unused wing pylon) so taking more than 1 comes with a greater downside than it probably is worth. (as seen on something like the Gr7/T10 where you give up an Aim-9 and a BOL rail for the Phimat)
(to keep this vaguely ontopic)
They really need to finish Phimat deployment as it would go a long way to keeping the ADVs in the fight. With BOL in its current state, having Phimat chaff to fallback on would help a lot. Especially the F3 late
Cupola shot or turret neck it frontally, biggest weakspots known to tank kind.
Remember, there is “russian bias”, American bias doesn’t exist
Vehicle : Netz
Gamemode : Air RB
Change : 12.7 —> 12.3
Reason : Why 12.7 when I only have Python3 without IRCCM?
Although Python3 can withstand up to 40G, the inductive delay makes it difficult to perceive a clear difference from AIM-9L. Therefore, the overall performance is considered to be equivalent to that of AIM-9L.
Therefore, a BR of 12.3, the same as the F-16A, is appropriate for Netz.
Also money bias cough cough 2S38 and prem F5’s
The F-15E is literally the best fighter in the game though. This is tragic.
its not
Rafale am I some kind of joke to you?
The cupola is indeed a weak point, but it can be counteracted by moving the turret. In addition, the front of the turret has complex armor, and its performance is better than its numerical value.
The thicker armor on the front of the vehicle body, which is more vulnerable to being hit than these weak points, is a major advantage.
Turret neck is raised on the VK making it very susceptible to munitions, I’ve killed quite a few through there but yes it could be hard to hit since if you aim too far up or down you’ll miss the weakspot and tumble the round. Regardless compared to the Tiger E it definitely has its weakspots, Id say its more Akin to the prem Tiger with track armor covering its hull weakspots and that vehicle is under BR’D
Imo its got the turret neck which isnt on other tigers making it worse cause it negates that frontal armor.
Vehicle : T-72AV
Gamemode : Ground RB
Change : 10.3 —> 10.7
Reason : T-72AV has a second generation TVD and excellent shells and is well armored. It is comparable to the third generation MBTs of the western countries, with a performance of 10.7.
Vehicle : T-80UD
Gamemode : Ground RB
Change : 10.3 —> 10.7
Reason : T-80UD has extremely good armor. It also has excellent shells and is not a 10.3 performer.
