Planned Battle Rating changes for August 2025 (updated 16:00, 15.08)

Yeah, fr, especially vs aim120 and r77 that even some 13.0 have and f15 at the same br don’t. But when you end up vs 14.0 f15 gets even better. Sure sure it`s great and all

Woah woah woah. It’s called the Chris Chan. Literally Mr Jackson’s favourite word. It should remain at a high BR.

Big boss

Non-BR Balance change suggestion:
Sturmtiger reload: 40s → 30s

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: SKR-1

Change: 4.3 → 4.7

Reasoning: Overperforming with rapid-firing 76mm guns and versatile secondary armament. If Köln and Lübeck are raised, SKR-1 should be as well, to avoid unfair matchups against weaker vessels.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: Fairmile H LCS(L)(2)

Change: 2.3 → 1.7

Reasoning: Extremely slow and fragile, with a weak 57mm gun with a slow rate of fire and a highly vulnerable ammo rack in the bow.

Put it to 5.0

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: HMS Liscomb

Changes:

  • AB: 2.0 → 2.7
  • RB: 2.3 → 2.7

Reasoning: With a detailed damage model, Liscomb is now much tougher and performs far above its current BR.

And so is most of the technical details of the drag argument it exists around the R-77/-1 situation, not to mention the MiG-29 ‘debate’ around its FM which also doesn’t exist.

I can agree that decompression should be done nonetheless, but not through the “muh plane does not have the stuff the benefited one has. So if i fall, you’re falling with me” kind of argument/logic.
That route of reasoning led to some one trick pony jap zeros to be facing early jets, not to mention other lame examples of such logic.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: HMCS Brantford (Flower-class corvette)

Change: 2.3 → 3.0

Reasoning: Highly overperforming due to high survivability, strong armament, and a detailed damage model. Far exceeds peers at 2.3.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: Fairmile D (617)

Change: 2.3 → 2.0

Reasoning: It’s a wooden boat prone to instant fire destruction and catastrophic ammo rack detonations. It currently underperforms compared to peers.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: Brave Borderer

Change: 3.3 → 3.0

Reasoning: This is the worst-performing and weakest 3.3 motor boat due to extreme fragility, as it is a wooden boat, so it lacks survivability compared to peers.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: HMS Peacock

Change: Keep at 4.0 (instead of 4.3)

Reasoning: It relies on a single primary 76mm gun and lacks torpedoes. At 4.3, they would consistently face destroyers and cruisers that they cannot handle.

This is just untrue, an 88mm gun is more than enough for most boats at the tier. At close range it is inferior, sure, but if you’re fighting at 3-5km (which is reasonable for 75-90mm guns), it is pretty good armament. A better argument would be that maps are too small.

+1 (i ran out of likes for today)
