Reasoning: I question the logic of placement at 3.7; PT-811 is nearly identical to PT-810, which is at 3.3. Both have the same armament and crew size, with no meaningful gameplay differences. PT-811 should be reduced to 3.3 to match PT-810.
Change: Move USS Candid’s position after LCS(L)(3) in the tech tree
Reasoning: USS Candid is considered to be an upgrade to the LCS(L)(3) in terms of survivability, crew count, armor, and detailed damage modeling. The LCS(L)(3) relies on a simplified damage model and is more susceptible to being quickly destroyed. USS Candid should follow after LCS(L)(3) in the tech tree to reflect its survivability.
Reasoning: This is a hydrofoil gunboat without torpedoes. Against destroyers, it lacks any reliable means of disabling heavily armed opponents. Its BR should be lowered to 2.7.

I think you two are both wrong. Aim-120s are quite good, but so is the R-77-1. The Aim-120s only weakness is sub 2km fights, but that can be solved by a bit of setup.
I’d still take Aim-120s over PL-12s because of their longer range and more reliable long range performance.
Has it?
That’s a strawman argument. Also, both the F-15E and Su-30 deserve to be 14.3 if we are “decompressing” up to that BR.
Proposed Change #2: Keep at 3.3 but move the spawn to the coastal area instead of the bluewater fleet area
Reasoning: USS Hoquiam is the worst-performing frigate at her BR. She lacks torpedoes, is slower than most destroyers, and has weak main guns with large frontal dead zones. She cannot compete with destroyers in the 3.3–4.3 range and should either be reduced in BR or given a coastal spawn.
Reasoning: VS-8 has a significant weakness - guns. Its 15mm guns perform poorly at long range and overheat & jam easily. Being a hydrofoil boat, its handling is also tricky, as grounding the hydrofoils results in catastrophic beaching.
Reasoning: VS-10 has a significant weakness - guns. Its 15mm guns perform poorly at long range and overheat & jam easily. Being a hydrofoil boat, its handling is also tricky, as grounding the hydrofoils results in catastrophic beaching.
Reasoning: Lacks torpedoes and cannot effectively damage destroyers in the 3.3–4.3 range. The Strela-2M ammo rack in the bow is also a major weak spot and can easily result in detonation.
Reasoning: One of the best Cold War versatile boats that’s currently overperforming due to rapid-firing 30mm cannons and powerful torpedoes. They can shred WWII-era coastal boats with little effort and should be moved up.
Yeah, fr, especially vs aim120 and r77 that even some 13.0 have and f15 at the same br don’t. But when you end up vs 14.0 f15 gets even better. Sure sure it`s great and all
Reasoning: Overperforming with rapid-firing 76mm guns and versatile secondary armament. If Köln and Lübeck are raised, SKR-1 should be as well, to avoid unfair matchups against weaker vessels.
