Please don’t kill the Type 81C again, Japan 11.3 needs air defense, the Type 93 has never been enough and never will. It already doesn’t have a radar, and the Tor M1 is 11.0. This thing literally can’t kill KA-52’s as it is because it both can’t get a lock unless they sit in the sky and give it to you, and can’t hold the lock because of the IRCM blocks

I want to ask one question about naval BR change after Hornets Sting update, including current planned battle rating changes.
Is there a long term planning of lowering entire destroyers and cruisers Battle Rating, including making reserve destroyer from 3.3 ~ 3.7 to like 2.X?
If current battle rating changes are just part of gradual long term planning of lowering overall bluewater vehicle’s battle rating, and developers announces it to players, than current rage of people about nowadays BR compression could be turned into hope of future BR decompression.
He’s right. The Ki-44-II hei has an outstanding FM. A +1.3 BR jump is a bit extreme, but its seriously way too good for 3.7.
Shows a lot about the WT community that a detailed post about an undertiered plane gets one like, and the reply ‘no’ gets four likes.
Gotta be one of the most annoying planes in the game. Definitely needs to go up, or have its airspawn diminished to an attacker spawn.
Also if you look here: StatShark - See All Player, Missile, and Vehicle Statistics, it has one of the highest WRs of any plane in the game

have you used either? adats sucks ass, especially now that you literally cant see your missile anymore…
i love the type 81 sniping every strike uav from 9km away and keeping planes away.
it strikes fear to CAS and only the FAS(far air support) prevails.
imo type81 is much superior as a antiair, tho adats has good anti tank cabablilities to counter.
this can be equally said for all gamemodes.
Apparently it costs them an arm and a leg to move numbers around, so we only get it once a year.
It is not the same weaponry, the VT1 is way better than the Roland 3

Much better thrust at lower speeds, which means it maintains its energy in turns very well. But to get the most out of it, you need to learn to VIFF. Pushing the nozzles to 15-30% to maximise turn performance

The 4030 has worse armor than the Challenger Mk2.
Look at my above arguments, it should lose its APFSDS (as its Ahistorical for it to even have it) Get the Chieftains 8 second reload, Due to the fact the Challengers lap loading training hadn’t been developed yet, and stay at 9.7, or maybe even go down to 9.3.
how is it worse armor? identical frontal hull & turret armor atleast.
they weigh the same too. same engine, same transmission, etc.
the only difference is the round and no worthles gen1 thermals.

Maybe its cause I’m a bit loopy rn but this feels like yet another fu to armor lovers. At least the T-55s ready rack isnt in the turret ring so that former 8.3 has half a chance of tanking expected fire unlike the Dalet

Most of these changes are good except the Obj. 435, T-55M, Strv 103C, and Ikv 91-105 are not 9.0 material, especially the latter two, they’re quite bad at 8.7 as it is.
This time only one change stands out to me as positively insane, the XM800T to 8.3, it was already a noob trap at 8.0 and battles at this BR are already decided by how many windowlickers spawn one and get instantly obliterated. How Gaijin looked at anything with only an Rh202 for armament and thought “yes, this clearly is more combat effective than a T32 or M60, maybe about the level of an M60A1 AOS” is inconceivable to me.
