tested in a private match against a heli which is hovering still, sidam doesnt give a indicator until its closer than 2.5km for example. you can use the apds whilst on an ammobox to get better performance.
statcard warrior strikes again… go use them yourself or fight against them, you will quickly realize how sad they are.
they are bad at any range compared to the alternatives.
iglas/hn6 seem to hit the most reliably against manuvering aircraft for me, but not being able to lead them over buildings/mountains is definedly a negative.
2x Magic I (So aim-9G level rear aspect IRs)
2x of the weakest SARH missiles of that BR
no true PD radar
a fairly poor RWR
Its got some weaknesses.
Id also call it an average FM, not great, but not weak either. Its biggest strength is the decent CM load, that carries it far more than I think most realise and why Id be hesitant below 11.0.
When compared with aircraft such as the F-4E and maybe a few like the Jaguars and F-5s. I think 11.0, maybe 11.3 would be the msot appropirate for it without the Magic IIs.
if it had half decent SARH missiles, then I could see it being higher, but its definetly not on par with a Mig-23ML/MLD without the IRCCM missiles and the non-PD R-530s
Vehicle: Mig-21 SPS-K

9.7->10.0
It’s nearly a harrier in terms of missile potency which is already strong but it’s supersonic which solves the harrier’s weakness/limitation. Sure you lose the gun to equip the missile flare loadout but it’s too good in downtiers just running around the map r60-ing you and it has flares if it gets caught off guard by an r60 or aim9g.
Do you relize that the 23mm round despawns at 2400m while the pgz does at 3000m? so yeah your testing method is questionable at best, not sure how you got over a kilomiter of extra range on those 2 while on the sidam you got 200 meters more…
