Reasoning:
The TKX (P) doesnt offer significant improvements over other vehicles at the BR, especially compared to those also found in the japanese ground tree. Compared to the Type 90/90(B), it has significant downsides for negligible advantages; The gun handling & performance is the exact same (depression, traverse etc.) but it has a lower ready-rack of 14 rounds, worse engine and power-to-weight ratio, also lacks significant armor-protection (given that people know to shoot the turret-roof and ring), with the only significant advantages being better sights, commander thermals and full reverse-gears.
That said, the advantages simply don’t make up for its’ downsides compared to the regular Type 90’s.
If this change was done together with an increase in Br of a lot of other 11.3 vehicles and a higher max GRB BR (decompression), then the change could be justified, however in it’s current form it doesnt make sense to move up the TKX(P), as it would essentially just end up being a filler for 12.0 lineups, while lacking most of the capabilites for being such.
Just means nobody will use it as the rest of the lineup isn’t effective essentially making the vehicles worthless, if only the T55 moved then fine but aiLV and strv are horrible
In my not so humble big headed opinion it should be 10.0. Especially as the 72B obr 1989 is at the same BR and that has far better armor than the B. If you ignore the poor ERA coverage around the gun (thats what bushes are for)
Brother I have over a 3.0K/D in the T-55AM-1 and got 19 kills in an uptier (check my YT if you don’t believe me). Out of all these BR changes this should be the least concerning lmao, as much as I love it, it has to move up
Ground RB, C13 T90, BR 7.0→6.7, Cockerel’s 90mm HEAT shells are unreliable. Personally, it is less reliable than the 75mm HEAT shell of the BMP-1 (pbv501). Its shell has a vertical penetration of 250 mm and a low explosive charge, making it less stable than other M431, M348, and OCC 90-62 shells. If the opponent’s armor is sloped more than 100 mm, shells cannot penetrate and often do no damage. Should at least be the same BR as the AUBL-74, which has the same cannon.
Reason: Decompression of the 7.0 to 7.3 BR range, where early jets with minimum thrust and maneuverability are forced to fight mig15s and sabres. it’s a deathwish to jump into a plane at 7.0 and be met with already high altitude mig15s and mig15bis in something like the m262s, f80a5s, mig9s and other jets at 7.0 and 7.3. give them room to breathe, they do well enough at 8.3 and 8.7.
should be 10.7 in ground battles and not 11.0
It has the same ground loadout as the MiG-23 M which is at 10,3
But only has r24, but has a terrible radar
I’d like to suggest the BMP-2MD be moved to 8.0 GRB maybe even GAB.
The lack of an ATGM is really hurting this vehicle. It being the same BR as its ATGM having cousins just doesn’t make sense.
