Anyone begging for SPAA to move up inside of down doesn’t play the game

Very good changes but…at least 13.3 is needed for planes for ground battles. But a step in the right direction.

Mode: Air Realistic Battles

Aircraft: P-51D-5 (USA)

4.0 → 3.7

Worse than P-51C-10 in every way, with very poor p/w ratio holding it back.

Mode: Ground Battles

Vehicle: Pantsir

Change: Remove/Disable/Soft lock missile performance to other SPAA.

Reasoning: Best performing SPAA with no equal within War Thunder. Has existed as such since its introduction in 2023.

im well aware, i have played both sturer emil and ikv 103 and know how to use their strenghts, it just doesnt make sense for ikv 103 to move up bcs its a glass cannon and the heat barely changes anything

Any comment on why we have another BR change with no sim changes, especially new sim brackets that allow for the introduction of 12.3 and 13.3 brackets?

So Type 81(C) as an IR-SAM based SPAA gets moved up to 11.7 while SU-39 and KA-50 (which literally has no counterplay at its own or lower br, except for one chinese SPAA…) get to stay at 11.3?
What exactly is the reasoning here? Are Ka-50 stats still too low because of first-spawn inting?

Ground Realistic Battles

For the battle rating changes in the current sheet
Please just keep the Finnish T-55M, T-55AM-1/T-55AMD-1, T-62 and Obj.435 at 8.7. None of them fits the standards of 9.0BR, including armour, mobility and firepower. It is a great joke that T-62 and T-62M-1 are both 9.0BR vehicles.

ZSD63/PG87 keep it at 5.3, and lower it to 5.0 if necessary.
Why should you lift the br of a SPAA that already has bad ammo belt capacity and mobility?

VT-5 keep it at 10.7, or give it DTC-02-105 (phase III APFSDS)

Sabra Mk1 lift it further to 10.3
You have created a monster with a 12.0BR APFSDS round and good protection and put it at 9.7 for pretty long time. And you are still trying to keep it at 10.0 to ruin the game experience of lower br players.

Bad take.
The extra 4 r-60Ms are suspicious to say the least.
I javent seen them listed in the manual.
And the flight model is sucky at best especially after the nerf

Main reason is that it creates a better BR-lineup for sweden at 5.0-6.0 and it would increase its rewards

Aircraft: P-39N-0

3.0 → 3.7

Aircraft with a short nose that provides superior dogfight visibility for high-aspect shots while also possessing excellent low-altitude performance (0-4km band - where most sim dogfights occur) giving it near-untouchable speeds at its current BR without sacrificing agility. In fact, it possesses superior agility due to less drag and mass to the presently 3.7 P-63A5 - giving it better energy retention all around.

It is held back from its true potential by its low ammo count and bad ballistics (slow muzzle velocity), but these do not justify its dominance against present peer aircraft. It also struggles with low-speed acceleration due to propeller efficiency shortfalls, but in air simulator battles I do not feel this to be as significant of a drawback in air RB as you have time and space to get to speed and once at speed, it is not difficult to maintain it.

Vehicle: ikv-91-105
Change: 9.0->8.7

Reason:
The ikv has one of the worst speed performances for a light tank at a BR of 8.7 already.
Moving it up to 9.0 will cause it to meet more advanced vehicles WAY more often than before such as the BMD-4/M which has better speed, mobility, armament and also generation 3 thermals or for example Leopard 1A5s way more, and they have a very strong dart at their designated BR + some versions with thermals too, making the ikv easier to spot.
Not to mention this vehicle’s armor can be penetrated by a .50 cal at point blank.

noone stops you from uptiering it yourself, but its still not a very capable vehicle with its heat to warrant its increase in br

Time to turn my attention to boats/ships in naval arcade battles. Starting with big bullies in the low-tier naval battles:

Mode: Naval Arcade Battles

Ship: HMS Liscomb

Change: 2.0 → 2.3

Reasoning: With the naval aiming system changes in arcade battles making it function more like an ‘aimbot,’ this vessel should receive a BR increase. It demonstrates strong survivability and can shred other patrol boats with ease.

Change: 2.3 → 3.0

Reasoning: With the naval aiming system changes in arcade battles making it function more like an ‘aimbot,’ this vessel should receive a BR increase. It demonstrates strong survivability and can shred other patrol boats with ease. Currently overperforming, it becomes nearly unstoppable when fielded by a coordinated four-player squad.

If 6x R-60M is wrong then it should be removed and balanced accordingly.

But was trying to play the Sea harrier FRS1e the other day and was just constantly geting BnZed by these and theyd just spam R-60Ms at you. Nothing I could do. Any subsonic at or around that BR is just a free kill for them
