Same shell used on the challenger mk2 and I do okay with it

Mode: Ground Realistic Battle
Tank: Chinese M60A3 TTS
Change: 9.0 → 8.7
Reasoning: the chinese M60A3 despite the lack of blazer ERA and the worst apfsds shell is sharing the same br as it’s american counterpart which make absolutly no sense. I propose to lower it’s br down to 8.7 with will greatly help it as it will not face 10.0 tanks anymore and will give it a more viable line up composed of the 8.7 and 8.3 chinese spaa and mediums
Another spaa PGZ09 8.3 → 8.7
Seems reasonable I guess.
It would just be the Chally Mk.2 without thermals at a slightly lower BR.
hells frozen over this guy doesnt want a British vehicle nerfed into ultimate irrelevancy
if i recall the ARH SAM-1C is in the files, though i dunno why gaijin isnt adding
Already planned
Idk I think I’d like it at 9.7 with L23
Oh lol
Sidam 25 mistral 9.7 → 9.3
Basically, also I find the dozer blade actually quite handy for the Mk2
When combined with this:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/m22cZZxaNPXJ
Should be a fairly solid 10.0 tank, that Id quite happily use as a back-up in a 10.3 line-up
Too good
It already does well at 9.7 with its current round (~DM23 equiv)
not irl? L23A1 didn’t come in until after CR1. Historical rounds are just the L15 APDS (and a bunch of stuff like HEAT we don’t know stats for)
Just nothing at 9.7 though. Either uptiering 9.0/9.3s to use alongside it (let alone more than a few 8.3s, like the Milan Warrior) or just using it at 10.0 anyway.
The 9.3s aren’t bad tho even at 9.7
I thought it did. I recall seeing something along the lines of L23 never existing or something and it should have L23A1 instead.
The turret is actually more armored and can tank Italian low velocity 47mm APHE rounds from hull down positions or German 37mm APHE and 20mm APCR.
chieftains were using that shell before chally entered service. its an early 1980s dart
That’s the Chieftain Mk.10
ITPSV leopard 8.7 → 9.0
