Reasoning: How is this plane in the same BR as the F5E and smaller than the J7D? Can someone explain this to me?

When bombing can affect not-a-single-thing to win the match.
It absolutely should go up, along with other 13.0s(F-4F ICE, Tornados, and the F-15s), but that’s not very possible unless Gaijin moves the top BR to 14.3/14.7.
Why should they shut it down? More than 800k plays it and you just don’t realize that. Naval need decompression and not again months of ignoring and gloating comments from players that don’t even play it.

No, but I’ve seen it perform well in that role.
You just have to stay calm when multipathing. Smooth turns under 50m and the missiles will never hit you. It’s kinda like playing any other brawler like the F-16A.

I have read about field mods being done to the Otsus since the 40mm guns were also seen as useless back then.
I agree. The Iranian F-14 can come back down to 12.7. It was nowhere near as OP as people claimed it to be last time. And its in an evern worse poaition now. It was a dumb change.

Reasoning: How can an airplane without an HDM, which is the most important tool of the top tier, be 14.0? F18 already has problems with its speed, and you still remove the HMD from this airplane?

I mean, yeah, screw the IRL F-14 IRIAF for taking away the f14 for the rest of the world if it wasn’t for them, the f14 could still be flying. but no. Because of it, all the F14s had to be damaged internally to be unrepairable so that they couldn’t get parts.

Nope, might work in flat maps (even then it depends on stuff like angle of incoming missile) but it is not a universal tactic.
Naaah… Send 14.0 jets like F-15E/EFT higher via decompression is better.
if F-14A IRIAF gets 2 extra fakour/phoenix and goes back down to 12.7

As long as Fakour hits target way faster than phoenix, sending F-14A IRIAF down to 12.7 will nothing but killing F-14A USN again.
It was more of a return to the regular Ko or Hei. That was the case with a lot of the Japanese improvised interceptors
