Spitfires would meme on the early Mig-15.
7.7s are facing other 7.7s, with other BRs sprinkled in.
7.7BR range is fine, though the P51H5NA could finally go to 6.7 where it belongs.
I honestly cannot wait to play more 7.7 and 8.0 after this change, this’ll finally revitalize the BR range.
its going to be me spading the dozen sabres and migs i have left clubbing meteors and other lesser planes, its not really a revitalization when its just moving two planes down so they can club to no end.
1A5 is massive upgrade to its playstyle with laser range finder and thermals and better round, and it sits just 0.3 higher.
On the other hand, much more mobile TAM with same firepower as A1A1 with laser range finder sits at 8.7. Only real advantage A1A1 has over TAM is that leo cant be 50caled to death from side.
You can mae obsecenely powerful 9.7 GER lineup that is entirely capable fighting in the 10.0/10.3 blackhole and is even fine handling the occasional 10.7 game, tho lack of full 10.7 lineups make this full uptier rare.
Or you can make powerful 8.7 lineup, which is also quite potent for its range.
A1A1 doesnt fit any of those. I wont be uptiering 8.7 lineup for incredibly mid leo, and I wont be bringing such tank with weak ammo and mobility (when compared to other 9.3/9.7 choices) to 9.3/9.7 when there are multiple vehicles.
We must be playing different games entirely then, as nearly every game at 7.3/7.7 is at br or 8.0/3 due to it being the br with people breaking in their first jets. your looking at this from a completely wrong angle, as your thinking nice now my sabres and migs are not fighting f104s, but failing to realize now people in their p-80’s, mig-9s, f9fs and meteors etc are now like… Crud now i am fighting sabres and migs every game instead of fighting the first ones every 2 or 3 games. The logical answer is to just raise the brs of the 104s and other 9.7 jets and push the top tier of jets up a notch in br by .3. Let me make a collage of all the commonly encountered planes that are now buggered by this.
see affixed collage now
you cant look at that and say its not popular, these are the starter jets and you see a good chunk of them near on every game at the br, though some are admittedly much more popular than others
I think that there is no reason for the T-34(1941) to move to 4.0, reason being that at 4.0 in the USSR tech tree we already have variants of the T-34 that are objectively better; like the T-34(1942), T-34 STZ and T-34E. These vehicles have the same firepower and very comparable mobility while having better armor. These vehicles are well balanced at where they are while the 1941 model won’t be used as it is simply outclassed for 4.0. Another Issue is that this ruins the Swedish 3.7 lineup leaving it with only one tech tree vehicle for no real balancing reasons as this leaves them with no better options for an all round medium tank (an issue that USSR doesn’t have)
AH-1W (USA&CN) 10.7 > 10.3 should be the same BR as G-LYNX and T129, cuz they have same capabilies
Mi-35M 10.7 > 10.3 same capabilities as G-Lynx and T129 but sligtly better zoom and less max distance on AGM’s 6km vs 8km on hellfires
Israeli AH-60 11.3 > 11.7 or even 12.0 . It has no place to be on 11.3 with 16 Spike ER missiles while all of competition with similar missiles are on 11.7 with 8 missiles vs 16 on AH-60
Pen values of 2s38 sit in the middle while compared with 9040c and HTSTVL so that’s why I said that it should be 10.7 but if it goes even higher, I won’t have any problems with that
While I get Spitties are absolutely fantastic (I know, incredible British engineering) I do somewhat feel that the MiG-15 will have no real problems printing a metric ass tonne of energy to “counter” the Spit.
teh sim BRs are fucked anyway, it makes no sense for it to be a higher BR than the FGR, probabally a gaijin moment where they forgot to move it down with other phantoms and never rectified it
The La-200 might be okay… and maybe the airspawn F-84s… but that’s kinda it. I remember when bringing a J29 i’d do a nice climb pattern that’d give me a decent amount of energy… and then some MiG-15 who was a good 5,000ft higher than me would ruin my game by forcing me defensive and force me down… what made it worse was there wasn’t really a counterplay to it. They were faster, so you couldn’t run away. They could retain their energy better, so they’d only ever lose if they tried to take a rolling fight with you… which is risky in itself…
