Im not gunna get into the F-5C flare or no flare debate. I really cant be bothered, but its engines are too cold. Its 60 degrees colder on full reheat than a harrier not on WEP. Its insane. If they increased its engine temp by 100 degree when on reheat and 60 degrees when not. no one would complain about flares anymore. Think about it, no one complains about any other aircraft at 10.3 with CMs, only the F-5C. (heck the Gr3 has CMs at 9.7 and no one complains about those)

The mig-15,17, and f86s moving down is a terrible idea. They are just going to roll over any and everything at those brs. Inclusing ww2 jets getting upteird. I dont understand all the 7.7 light tanks going up to 8.0 when they aready somewhat mid at 7.7, especially the non atgm ones. T-34 1941 is anything but a 4.0. I just dont understand how T-34 41 could be 4.0 while Pz.IV H is 3.7. M18s just ain’t a 6.0 tank. They are on par with the 5.7s. The 76mm gun is already starting to fall off around 5.7 and is already not great in an upteir against soviet and german heavies.

Why move the Sabres & MiGs but leave the G.91s, Vampires, Sagittario 2, Ouragans, J 29s, Hunter F1, and Meteors where they are?

Yeah Agreed this makes no sense, there are radar AAs available from 8.0 to 8.3 and uptiering the AMX 30 DCA seems like a bad decision, it’ll mean 1. France won’t have a radar AA compared to other countries 2. France won’t have any AA anywhere between 5.7 and 8.7

The plane is very much dragged down by its extremely subpar IR missiles. It emerged as the best Soviet dogfighter at top tier after all the crippling MiG-29 and Su-27 FM nerfs, so if those nerfs are here to stay, giving the Yak-141 actually reliable dogfight missiles would be one way to give the Soviets a genuine WVR answer to the F-15s, F-16s and Gripens that are now unmatched by anything in the Soviet tree.

The plane has cracked flight performance only second to the Gripen, the F-16s and the Mirage 4000 and carries the same missiles as the F-16C, it just doesn’t make sense for it to stay at 12.3 in its current state.

If you’re moving the CL-13 Mk.5, F-86F-2 and MiG-17 to 8.7, it would only make sense to move their counterpart of the yesteryear too. 9.0 with no flares in a plane with subpar maneuverability and, by now, unremarkable speed and acceleration is just rough, much rougher than for the nimble Sabres and MiGs.
