i very much disagree with this. The panther A is pretty much identical to the panther G in gameplay, with it only being very slightly worse armor wise, and the panther F is a sidegrade, sacrificing the trolly panther turret for better optics, reload, and a rangefinder. If you put the panther A to 5.7, you would also have to move the panther D down to 5.3. I agree that the panther G and F are better, but it is such a small difference that it isn’t worth them being different brs

Gaijin should realize that while yes, CopyPaste is unavoidable, keeping trees unique is a draw for players and will encourage game growth. Why should I play any one tree if they’re just gonna spam Pattons, Leopards, and American SPGs?

Soon the A6M5 Ko will meet the Su-30MKK in battle.
The fact that those Su-30 are still at 13.3 after almost a year is absurd. They can meet planes that have 4 sparrows and that’s it in their kit, ffs.

It uses the SM engine currently, it’s just that the SMT alone uses the unique R-13F-300 rather than the normal R-13-300 like MiG-21MF does which is an export version of SM. How about R-60s and R-13M1s?

The Su-30MK2/MKK overperform at 13.3 and are far closer in effectiveness to current 13.7 aircraft.
Their combination of a 10-air-to-air missile loadout (6 ARH + 4 IR) , modern radar, HMD, IRST, and strong overall performance gives them a significant advantage over other 13.3 fighters. While heavier than other Flankers, the flight performance tradeoff is not enough to justify the lower BR.
The main issue is matchmaking. At 13.3 they frequently face 12.3-12.7 aircraft with substantially weaker sensors, fewer missiles, and inferior to no BVR capability. Moving them to 13.7 would reduce oppressive downtiers while placing them against aircraft with comparable overall combat capability, creating a truly miserable experience at these BRs.

Also I find it incredible that building the unique gun doesn’t qualify as being close to reality. It’s not a completed chassis to be sure, but the fact that the gun was built and tested says a lot.
Let’s not forget how Gaijin figured out how to arm the Yak 141. Realizing the Ho-Ri II, around a gun that was tested, with drawings thats exist, shouldn’t be more difficult than figuring out which weapons would be on the Yak 141 or how the nonexistent radar would impact the flight characteristics.
