no not really cause they could bring them back in the future they was their for gap fillers
These Ho-Ris will never return.
the missiles have man in the loop now.
if you use it they actually hit unlike what happened before, and you can actually use its very long range very effectively.
The one I am referring to is the T-64a(1972). Your point about M1 Abrams being the best 10.7, maybe if it’s top tier against 11.7 which it so often is in my region, it’s next to worthless especially if the 774 shell isn’t unlocked.
I am not the best player and rn I am playing with controller on a 16 oled with 160 ping. All of which won’t be an issue soon. I just feel like when I’ve played T72 M1 my best Soviet tank I’ve been able to cheese players and when I see my team that may still be winning but with 5 deaths each and most ussr players with a premium or something just racking up a ton of kills before losing because they don’t have respawns.
I may have never played a single up down tier game with the M1. Routine killers of me are t72m2, t64 1972, turms t t72, t80, t90s. Most I get multiple weak spots bounces due to era or something unknown and any of them one shot often.
A lot of maps cater to them as well. I think ranges play will be much better when I am back to a big screen and low ping but I am unsure how much that will chang.
As far as German tree, just damn teams and then I will always have at least one death with a premium leopard on any nation it’s seems damn OTCO and STRV. I wish there was more in between for German or realistic mode that simply allows arcade style balancing. Make it a different mode but just let it be tank warfare so Russian teams would win more but it didn’t always guarantee that you get killed by them because you are usually against them.
the problem is the mitl is still bugged on it meaning most of the time it refuses to go where youve marked and simply flies over. Or it misses due to the tank not actually being where its being shown so it just hits next to them on their screen. Compared to other mitl munitions ive used so far these seem to be the most buggy for some reason.
All this not to mention how slow and obvious the martels are, the fact i have to fire 3 for a 2s6 just to even have a chance of getting anything past them should tell you how easy to is to intercept. Moving this thing up wont do anything but take away our ONLY fnf cas bellow 10.7.
Ya, but maybe slow the reload or add some nuance. It’s painful to get 2 shots only to be killed by the first one you aren’t able to dodge.
Does that make sense? It felt like a suicide simulation just to earn the out dated 774 agains t80 t90s.
Or even just regular tanks, I have around 60% of AJ168s intercepted by roof mounted MGs
i mean i mostly agree, but the thing is not large. its tiny,
just drive next to any other tank and youll see,
its the size a standard civilian light truck with a added radar & missile post on the bed.
also its a godlike scouting vehicle, probably the best in the game, the binoculars view is hilariously high.
it would be pretty good if it could lock further away.
The MITL update both buffed and nerfed the AJ168s.
The buffs:
The AJ168s feel like they have better overall range performance and they dont miss as often. MITL allows for AJ168s to be fired from very long range and guided onto a specific target well outside of the range of any SPAA, keeping the Buc S2B safe.
The Nerfs:
The seekers no longer have any zoom (AGM-65B has virtually 10x the zoom the AJ168 has 29.46x vs 3.53x) , and so spotting anything beyond a few KM away is virtually impossible, this means you cannot ripple fire multiple AJ168s at multiple targets or even the same target. You can ripple fire and guide teh last one, but then the other 2 are just decoys.
With how easy the AJ168s are too intercept by basically anything, let alone an actual SPAA… the increased effective range isnt necessarily that big of a deal, and even if it was, the SP cost is much much higher than say, using the Jaguar GR1B with GBU-12s.
I dont mind the changes to the AJ168, its more realistic overall, but I dont think its current state justifies being 10.7. Alternatively though, they could add AS.37s
Not to mention even when you do hit someone its usually just “hit” due to the recent nerfs… I kinda preferred it before mitl was added tbh as it had a pretty good loal ability when fired from 6km. Now i can barely see whats going on at all.
Yeah, what little ive used it, its been okay on that front. But I usually just got go for the much cheaper Jaguar GR1B
Been using drag bombs on the jags recently, quite funny to just thunder over the battle at mach while dropping drag bombs. Although it does require you to have a buddy in a light tank to ping guys for you. Im missing nuclear thunder quite a bit as using them in that game mode was really funny on the fg.1
at the range where the tv seeker will lock on targets you can already see the enemies with your naked eye very easily, i havent experienced this as an issue.
Im kinda looking forward to using the Jaguar Gr1 at 9.3 now.
The few times I tried that approach I literally couldnt see the target I knew was there even at 4-5km away, which really isnt where you want to be when there is a 2S6 currently firing at a teammate, maybe the render distances are buggy as hell or stupidly tied to crew skill.
But I found it basically impractical to use the 3.5x zoom of the seeker to LOBL
at such close ranges i dont use the sight at all with any fnf cas munitions. with grayscale and smaller fov view its way harder to spot enemies.
True, but if you have to get that close anyway, do we really consider the Buc S2B on par with something like the Hawk 209 with 4x AGM-65Gs or the A-10A Late with 6x AGM-65Ds, given the Buc S2B only has 3x AJ168s
I just feel this is a blanket nerf to MITL aircraft and not actually any issue with the Buc S2B or AJ168s being too strong at 10.3
Probably better to get the hawk 200 moved down to 10.3. I cant really see it being any better than the a10 early, that combined with the fact the german f4f is 10.3 i believe with 2 agm65 and a 3000lbs bomb. I know which one i would rather have.
Yep
Cough cough
The T-64A entered service in 1968, I fail to see how the M1 Abrams that entered service in 1980 would be it’s peer.
1968 is when the US was still primarily using the M60A1 (not even the stabilized version yet).
It’s not.
Every MBT at these BR’s struggles when dealing with a full uptier.
The T-80B gets lolpenned anywhere by an M1A1 Abrams whilst also being less mobile, having massively worse gun handling characteristics, slower reload, worse survivability, etc. etc.
That’s a problem with BR compression and not a problem with the M1 being weak for it’s BR.
If you’re going to buff every 10.7 MBT to deal with 11.7’s, then how do you think 9.7’s will fare against these massively buffed 10.7’s?
