It’s listed in a 2024 Ministry of Defense document, “List of material identifiers under the responsibility of the Land Armaments Directorate.” I don’t know when they were purchased (or even just for testing).
Vehicle: RN Corazziere
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: 4.3 —> 4.0
Reason: Currently, RN Corazziere is completely overclassed at its battle rating. It has worse survivability(smaller size and crew), and armament compared to almost all 4.3 destroyers of other nations. It also lacks long range AA defense, and her torpedoes aren’t the best. The only improvements over 3.7 italian destroyers like RN Dardo and RN Vincenzo Gioberti is an additional main gun (5 vs 4), and slightly bigger crew count.
They obviously aren’t thinking
Vehicle: MB-326K
Gamemode: Air Realistic
BR Change: 7.7 → 7.7
Reason: This plane is outclassed by almost all 8.0 fighters such as the F-86A-5, MIG-15 and Meteor Mk.8
Additionally the MB-326B, a premium copy of this aircraft with worse guns sits all the way down at 6.7!
I dont believe the addition of better armament is enough to warrant this high of a BR increase.
I think premium has worse engine
1630 kgf vs 1070 kgf thrust
Vehicle: OPLOT-T/M
Mode: GRB
Change: 12.3->11.7
Reason: the hull armor is bad for a Soviet school tank. Side duplet era is worse than kontakt-5, which makes it somewhere in between NERA and k-5 in effectiveness against KE. and with the recent addition of M829A3 the ufp armor is less effective. In the future we might see more anti-era mechanics on the same darts that we have in the game; dm53, 3bm60, l27a1 and potentially others for different nations.
It also has the worst gun depression of all 12.3/12.7 vehicles paired with bad vertical traverse speed.
To make the change fair, Gaijin can remove the BTA4 she’ll and keep the 3bm42 as its main shell.
All Tigers 2 (Nr1-50) , should they be at 6.3?
No
Small Correction on the DM63 part, it has slightly lower Velocity meaning its gonna have roughly 10mm less Penetration (Since Rheinmetall has stated that the DM63 has 1720m/s on the L55 and 1650m/s on the L44)
Most of the planned GRB BR changes shouldn’t be implemented
Vehicle: RN Da Verazzano
Gamemode: Naval Realistic
BR Change: 4.3 —> 4.0
Reason: Currently, RN Da Verazzano is one of the slowest destroyers at its tier, with no strengths to make up for it. Her armament is below average(low fire-rate, and high dispersion), as well as her survivability (crew count below average, small size). Her torpedoes aren’t the best, as well as her AA defense, composed of 2 ineffective pom poms, and a bunch of 13.2s
Right now there’s little point in playing these PzIV’s when their Sherman and T-34 counterparts are simply superior.
Armour? ------------- M4/T-34 > Pz IV
Gun handling? ---- M4 > T-34/Pz IV
Mobility? ------------ T-34 > M4 > Pz IV
Firepower? --------- M4 > Pz IV > T-34
Survivability? ------ M4/Pz IV/T-34
couldn’t agree more. +++1
@Smin1080p_WT can you comment?
This is extremely relevant between the note on T20 in the OP and the highly dubious changes proposed (mainly all Zeros being moved up and Leopards 1A5 - down). Like, what’s the process for when the stats-based BR assignment suggests a visibly bizarre change?
Vehicle: YAK-130
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 9.7 —> 9.3
Reason: Flareless jet, against a multitude of IR SAMs is diabolical. Especially since KAB-500’s are lacking in range.
The other issue is that you have left A-4’s and its derivatives untouched.
So either keep the yak at 9.3, or increase the BR’s of all A-4 variants to balance it.
As far as I can tell, they almost entirely rely on their internal statistics, which mostly focus on player economy
Vehicles that earn players a lot of rewards on average will move up in BR, while those vehicles that earn the players less rewards on average will move down in BR
There are so many noobs using vehicles like the Tiger II that their stats are massively deflated, meaning they appear to underperform based on Gaijins point of view
Agreed, I always felt like PZ IVs were, at the same time, disappointingly frustrating to play AND also undertiered.
Slow and sluggish, no armor… okay firepower, though. With this reload improvement, now they have superior firepower to the other tanks while being inferior in every other way, I think it’s balanced now.
Can’t wait to play Stug III G and its lineup after these changes!
Suggestion
Naval
IJN Shimakazi (Squadron)
5.0>4.7
To match Akizuki, Hatsusuki and Suzutsuki which are going down to 4.7.
The extra torpedos are really only an advantage on open water maps, but the 3 main turrets vs the Akizuki class 4x Turret is a disadvantage at all times. If the Akizuki class DDs go down it is only right the Shimakazi should too.
Additionally the extra + 0.3 compared to the Kagero and Yugomu (also 3 turrets) no longer seems justified. Up against DDs and CLs firing SAP vs your HE only it seems a few extra torpedos isn’t really worth the cost.
since the F-5A(G) is seemingly going to be unaffected by the BR changes, would it be possible to get its’ AIM-9Ms back?
