Planned Battle Rating Changes (August 2026)

Much much less battles tho

Not many people have it therefore its not a problem and also doesnt hurt the marketplace value. Some devs may have this as a coupon hoping to sell it someday or something i dont know.

Vehicle : Chieftain Mk.10/900, Khalid, FV4030/3
Gamemode : Ground Battles
Change : Change APFSDS to L23A1(No changes to BR)
Reason : It has been confirmed that the APFSDS known as the L23, currently implemented in the game, is a fictional projectile created by Gaijin and does not actually exist.
The L23 should be removed and replaced with the L23A1.
Furthermore, I do not believe that replacing it with the L23A1 will result in a change in performance significant enough to warrant an adjustment to the BR.

I can usually average around 1-2 kills ,maybe, in a downtier. But its hard work.

Yeah never had

Never actually did IRL… but… BOL was added right before it retired, and there is no reason it couldnt do it. Gaijin own official stance was “if it needs the buff we’ll add it” and then like everyhting to do with a British vehicle or a Harrier. Just buried the report.

i agree and moving the khalid up is not fair bc all tanks at 10.7 (which if the Khalid does go up to 9.7) it will be like a coughing toddler with no composite armor and the shell it gets and mobility slightly make up for it but it dosent even get thermals so its kinda useless to me so it should not be changed in BR and the other chieftans are fair bc of their engines

Let me be clear: while I personally like the idea of paper vehicles because it opens up the door to many interesting designs, I understand (disagree with, but understand) Gaijin’s aim in having realistic vehicles.
The bigger problem is creating disparity between the people who have the vehicles and the people who don’t.

Rework the Ho-Ri, Panther II, etc. to fit within Gaijin’s intended scope? Sure, makes sense.

Remove them from the game entirely, including from the players who have them? Heavy-handed and certainly a nuclear option, but at least it achieves Gaijin’s stated goal outright and keeps parity between players old and new. I don’t support this at all, I only mean that it’s an arguable option.

This? I struggle to see how this achieves a net positive. If I were someone who dislikes ahistorical vehicles in my game, I’d be miffed at the number of Coelians, Tiger II 105s, etc. still seen around that BR range today. And for the group of players (dare I say it, quite possibly the majority) who have no problem with these vehicles being in game, this is a negative change overall. Especially for those in that group who want these vehicles but cannot get them.

Mode : Ground Realistic Battles
Vehicle : Olifant Mk.2
Change : 9.3 → 9.7
Reasoning : Second-generation TVD (gunner and commander), DM63, standard mobility

Olifant Mk.2 possesses these capabilities and seems to outperform other 9.3 MBTs.

Worse Ferdinand with overpressure.

Vehicle: AH-1Z
Game Mode: GRB
BR Change: 12.0 —> 11.7
Reason: Why is the AH-1Z’s BR not being lowered when the AH-64D’s is? If JAGM missiles are being added, that’s a different story, but if not, the BR should be set to 11.7.

Vehicle : Superhind
Gamemode : Ground Realistic Battles
Change : 10.3 —> 10.0
Reason : Other helicopters in BR10.3 are equipped with either air-to-air missiles or long-range air-to-ground missiles such as the Hellfire. In contrast, the Superhind is armed only with the ZT3A2, which has a range of 5 km, giving it clearly inferior performance compared to other helicopters in the same BR. Furthermore, at this range, it would be forced to engage within the effective range of SAMs.

I believe BR10.0 is appropriate.

Leopard 1A5 - [ 9.0 → 9.3 ]
The Leopard 1A5 has no place on the 9.0, it should remain on the 9.3, like the almost identical AMX-30/32, OF-40, and others. And on 9.0, there is not even a single tank with similar effectiveness, most of them do not even have an APFSDS at the DM33 level, let alone a laser rangefinder. Additionally, it is quite mobile.

Vehicle: Lynx AH.Mk.1
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 10.7 —> 10.0
Additional Change: Remove AGM-114B Hellfire
Reason: Britain has a notable gap in its heli tree, with nothing between the 9.0 Wessex and the 10.7 Lynx bar a single SQV. This gap would be ideally filled by the Lynx Mk1.

This then also makes for an ideal reason to add the AH.MK7 with Hellfires at 10.7, to replace the Mk1.

Why the heck has the spitfire LF mk IXc been moved up .6 of a be in less then 6 months? As if jet fighters were not painful enough before, now i fight ho 229 just because it got two more ineffective bombs

The LF Mk9 has only moved up this update in GRB, not ARB.

sometimes if you really love something you gotta let it go (im joking.) gaijin said that they wouldnt give it alarm due to its br and knowing them that might also include air for whaterver reason. yes its preferable if only the ground br gets changed

GRB only though, not ARB. ALARM literally cannot be used in ARB.

Though the BR increase to 11.7 doesnt change a thing because we only have 11.7 ground vehicles to use it with, which is why the requirement to keep it at 11.3 and deny ANY ARM is just stupid.

yeah exactly

No it does not sir, this thing is the literally definition of coughing baby. I would rather play my mk10 cent than that thing. Thermals are not everything and thing has some MAJOR problems.

TOW only Lynx, sweet

but shame for those who want to grind in Heli PvE, has been overran by FnF (because there’s no BR bracket separating them unlike Rank 5) and you’d be barely getting ground kills although Lynx is one of the fastest helis in the game, but yea meanwhile France have some variety with Gazelles

Vehicle: Leopard 1A5 (all)
Gamemode: Ground RB
BR Change: 9.0→9.3 (reverse the change)
Reason: I’m sure Gaijin moved them down because of their poor stats, but is Gaijin aware leopard’s poor stats are caused by this BR bracket filled with autocannon vehicles?
Because let me remind you how clogged the 8.0-9.7 range is: we have OF-40 Mk2 at 9.0, laser rangefinder, no thermals, mid mobility, DM23. The MTCA OF40 at 9.3, laser rangefinder, no thermals, awesome mobility, DM33. And we are bringing leo1a5s (laser rangefinder, thermals, good mobility, DM33) to 9.0?
The last thing we needed is a compression in this BR range. 8.0-9.7 needs a huge decompression, not a compression.
