Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)

Su 27, su 33, j 11 13.3

Mode: Air realistic
Vehicle: Jaguar A (France)
Change: 10.7 → 10.3
Reasoning: No stock ordnance, only 2x 30 mm ADEN, poor FM, 2x matra 550 at tier IV, completely outclassed at its current BR

The Strela’s range is abysmal (5km) which leaves it and its team extremely vulnerable to laser guided bombs that it cannot reliably lock onto, but within its range, it is a great SAM.

The OSA has inverted range limitations, being unusable at close range, very good at medium range, and competent up to its 10.3km range. They are a good pairing of SPAA that have opposing strengths and weaknesses, making them both mostly equal.

The Tunguska could go up to 11.0 if Gaijin wanted it to, but I don’t think it’s OP at 10.7, and Gaijin could much more easily bring the ADATSs down to 11.3 where their SAM performance would clearly make more sense, especially since they aren’t as good at taking out Ground Vehicles after the SACLOS accuracy changes a few years back.

I would love for 2s6 to move to 11.0, the thing is super strong at 10.7 with irst, good range missiles, guns and excellent radar

2s6 10.7 - > 11.0

Stock loadout changes

Change: Give all Rank IX and VIII aircraft chaff Stock

Reason: These aircraft are dictated mostly by SARH and ARH combat, and they need chaff stock in much the same way VII aircraft need flares stock. Rank IX is perticuarly hard-pressed due to the dominance of AESA radar which means that tactics like Terrain masking and flanking are exceptionally hard

Honestly very confused as to why the ELC 901 is going up in BR to 6.3.

I can understand the ELC bis being moved up to 6.3, given it’s small size, high speed, and good firepower, but the ELC 901 is not only 20kph slower going forward, but also has an almost nonexistent reverse speed of 7kph, compared to the ELC bis’s 35kph top speed in reverse. It would make so much more sense if the ELC 901 stayed at 6.0, making it actually have more of a reason to be used by players than just for “premium vehicle rewards.”

Not to mention the fact that moving them them both up leaves a major gap in terms of French light tanks for lineups that use 5.7 and 6.0 vehicles.

I’m safe to grind until 10.7 I guess

ABSOLUTELY gaijin, this was needed literally a year ago
Not doing this is objectively stupid and anti-player design

It’s already in every 12.7 game. I got to 10.7 in January and 12.7 in March, so I’ve experienced a good bit of both. It’s no where near as annoying in 12.7 compared to 10.7, but trust it’s still a pain a lot of the time. 12.7 players already complain about it.

Stock loadout changes

Change: All Rank VII aircraft stock SARH

Reason: Rank VIII aircraft already have this and its highly effective in making the stock grind way less tedious. Many aircraft at Rank VII are similar if not the same BR and its unreasonable to expect these aircraft to stock grind with only IR missiles which are usually vastly inferior.

For example Tornado F3 at 12.0 has 2x 9Ls and 2x Skyflash DFs stock and also at 12.0 is the Phantom FGR2 with 2x Aim-9Ds stock. This is just insane imo.

Stock loadout changes

Change: All Rank VI and VII strike aircraft given Stock A2G weapons (even just a limited number of small bombs)

Reason: Many strike aircraft do exceptionally poorly in A2A combat even spaded with missiles and yet many are forced to engage in A2A combat to stock grind, without even missiles. Aircraft such as the Jaguar GR1 or Super Etendard are dependent on gunfighting when stock and this is just unacceptable. Giving them, even just a handful of small bombs or rockets would give them an alternative and make the stock grind much easier, Rank VIII strike aircraft (and possibly a few ex-Rank VIII aircraft) such as the Tornado IDS already get this, and the stock grind is way more reasonable.

Currently a Mk.III, should be a Mk.V

Ground RB:

R2Y2 series
8.0 → 7.3

These planes are relic of the past that are now sitting in a forgotten and nerfed legacy BR. Single bomb with potent cannons. In fast engagements of Ground RB these hefty jets don’t differ much from Su-9/11 or the squadron Me-262.

Naval AB:

SKR-7
4.3 → 4.7

Still one of the most deadliest coastal big ships. Somehow it’s damage surpasses Terra Nova and Ayanami by a great margin. Speed and devastating RBU-6000 mortars makes it a one-man-army in fast paced AB. It eats alive all 3.3 coastal and destroyers. Raising it’s BR might give new naval players a bit more softer landing into the game mode.

Pr.206
4.3 → 4.7
BRRRRRRT! No other nat… BRRRT! NO OTHER NATION HAS… BRRRRRRTTTTT! No other nation has equivalent to this absolute nightmare of seas. Even the Freccia or Saetta can’t come close to the burst mass of 206 that it can’t rip out in a mere second. No 3.3 coastal should face it in AB at least.

Correct. I never said anything to suggest otherwise. However it should be noted that I’m not suggesting a missile to be added that isn’t already established on other air platforms. It just so happens to be that the F-14B Tomcat was a platform that did use the Aim-9M sidewinder during its service. I’m simply putting the idea out there since Gaijin has decided to revisit the Iranian F-14 Tomcat.

Mode : Ground RB
Vehicle : AMX-30 S DCA : 8.7 ⇒ 8.3
+++++++++++
During the previous BR adjustment, APDS was removed from this vehicle’s belt. As a result, its anti-tank capability has become weaker than that of SPAA equipped with 35mm guns.

Compared to standard 35mm SPAA such as the Gepard or Type 87, it cannot use a limited reserve of APDS rounds (a separate pool of 40 high-penetration rounds). On top of that, the 30mm AP rounds have lower penetration than 35mm and also suffer from a higher ricochet rate, making them a strictly inferior option.

In addition, this vehicle lacks a stabilizer and, due to its gear ratio, is slower than other anti-air vehicles. Its only advantage is the radar search angle, but since it lacks IFF and uses a combined search and tracking radar, this cannot really be considered a strength.

In its current state (excluding vehicles like the SIDAM that are incapable of ground attack), this is the worst SPAA. Please either lower it to BR 8.3 or reverse the historically inaccurate removal of APDS.
