Planned Battle Rating Changes (April 2026)

Vehicle: F-4EJ Kai

Mode: Air RB

BR: 12.3 → 12.0 or give it AAM-3

Reasoning: Compared to F-4EJ normal, you get a F-4EJ with Aim 7F and Aim 9L missiles and a better radar. Yet its issue is that it is always fighting in a uptier it can’t compete against. Phantom is slow for its BR while it gets blasted by either Su-33, Su-30MK2, F-14B, F/A-18, F-15A etc, because these aren’t only faster than the Phantom, but outperform it in everything, in dogfight they can just out turn it. In missile fight it will be just get hit by Fakours, RVV-AEs. While when you try to respond with lets Aim 9L / Aim 7F it will just love the flares.

I know but I can a sure you its better to go up against something that has two aim9b than 4

they are going up because thhe yak-3U loses the horizontal turnfight which is totally the yak-3Us only strength , (when I played the A6M5 literally 90% of yaks turned with me)

Mode: Air Simulator

Aircraft: Mig-29G

Change: 13.0->12.7

Reasoning: The Long Scan cycles of the Radar combined with its atrocious RWR and a crippling lack of ARH missiles make this plane completely useless in the current BR brackets as it has to go up against ARH slingers with the F-16 spam coming in addition. You can only beat a dead horse so much before it gets pointless. The F-15 which has much better radar and a working rwr gets to be at 12.7. No one in a sane condition of mind can tell me that the Mig-29 with 4 R-73 and 2 R-27ER is the same capability as a F-15 with 4 Aim-9M and 4 AIM-7M. You either fly on the deck hoping that the enemy wont find you and yeet a ER at it from below or you die horribly, and with only 60 Flares or chaff it is rather a daunting proposition to go up against people who have 240 flares and chaff or even more

The date it went into service generally reflects the tech it used (unless it was made by a third-world country.)

The 1980s SAMs are built with 1980s tech and to 1980s standards. They should primarily be facing 10.0-10.7 planes.

yea because it has aim7 as it’s best radar missile…

R27ER is a LEAP better than the aim7’s

You just described F15A with AIM7 gameplay when its up against R27ER

That wannabe 2s38 whould like to have a word
Pt76-57

HDN radar and garbage at close range.

I know to control it, but even 100% throttle, the engine is not powerful enough. The 8.3 one can meet jets with afterburners. And have to use MG 151 to fight with cold war cannons

Pretty much all f104 are but not the C

Ground RB / SB
Tiger II Sla. 16

Proposed change:
Engine power 680hp @3000rpm → 750hp @2000rpm
Top speed 47 kph → 42 kph

The engine nerf to the Tiger Sla 16 was based on a misinterpretation of a bug report, it should be reverted to the previous engine power and transmission:

There is nothing wrong with a TWS HDN radar, just needs to be used right. Ive had no issue with either the F3’s or the few matches ive played in the F-14A IRIAF getting the radar to work.

and tbh, dont get too close in it, if its an issue.

They kill Yaks

I genuinely dont get how you are having so much trouble getting what I am saying. I literally cannot make it any clearer. It does not matter that it was built in the 1980s, with 1980s tech and 1980s standards. It does not perform like, say, an aim9m thats also from the 1980s. So they put it at a lower BR. That is how they balance it. The performance. Not any kind of date. So I will say again. If the date its technology from mattered, than the concept 3 would be 6 whole brs higher, since it has the same technology level as the tanks at 10.7. But it would not perform well at 10.7. So it is not at 10.7. They put it at a br where it performs well.

Can we give the F-14B its AIM-9Ms as well, please??
